"Gimmicky…Watch out"

Gimmicky…Watch out! Lending Tower sent me a great personalized offer in the mail where I would get $85,000 for 5 years paying between $5 and $6k in total interest which looked great since we started remodeling right when inflation shot up our credit card rates. I have never missed a payment in my 30 years as a credit holder, have a pension, full time job for 30 years in the same company, a husband with a ripe 401k, full time job in the finance industry and a home that’s worth 500k more than what we owe. I notice Lending Tree uses the same trick other lenders who track you down use. After you apply or inquire about this seemingly great loan that you deserve, they change your rep to someone who goes over all your debt from your credit report and has the stupidity to imply that you over spent and suddenly you need them more than they wanted you. I cut the guy short and said, “Just give me the terms and how much interest I will pay you in the end. Suddenly, I am not worthy for the loan. Don’t fall for the routine that wastes your time and makes you feel irresponsible. Ask them for the basic things you need to make an educated decision, the amount they are lending you, the rate, the time you have to pay it off, and most IMPORTANTLY, HOW MUCH INTEREST YOU WILL HAVE PAID THEM AT THE END.

Email wise it was horrible and spammy, once I called and talked to the people at the call center it went great. If I ever come back it was only because of the couple random people at the call center. Everyone else email wise or Sophia Navarro just made this whole experience feel like a spam scam.
