"5 ⭐️ product and company "

I can’t recommend this company and product enough. I have just painted my bedroom using the shade Pampas and it’s absolutely beautiful. Stunning colour and texture. After using many different brands of paint over the years, I have never been as happy with the finish of a paint as I have with this. It’s a joy to work with and I’ve never been able to say that before. Before I purchased the paint, I sought advice from COAT and their customer service is five star. I had a surplus tin of paint due to the fact I had overestimated how much I would need; this was returned and I was refunded without any hassle.
Simply put COAT is AMAZING and I can’t wait to re decorate my new house using more of their fabulous paint!

"So impressed by COAT paints"

Genuinely so impressed by COAT paints. I used their woodwork satin on the skirting and picturerail and the flat matt on walls and ceiling in my little boy's nursery. The colour is gorgeous - such a perfect blue tone. And the quality was amazing compared to trade paints that I've used in the past. There was very little splash or spray from the roller. I probably could have got away with a single coat if my technique was better. Would highly recommend.

"Paint Good but delivery and returns process is a faff"

Ordered the paint and realised I needed some more so paid extra for next day delivery but didn't arrive until the day after.

Once finished I had a spare pot that I hadn't used. I had to submit a request to return.

It took 3 days to receive the reply and also informed that you have to pay £5.50 for a return. I printed the label and returned the paint; Over a week later I still haven't had any communication from them to say they've received.

I think for my next project I'll use paint that can be sourced from a shop rather than faffing around like this.

"Most amazing paint"

Most amazing paint! So far I’ve used Nomad on a staircase transformation and Ciao, Sofia exterior paint to give my front door a lick of colour. Recently just bought humble to decorate the spare room, another transformation incoming! Highly recommend, the paint hasn’t marked or chipped and looks amazing!

Recently ordered 5 lt Mr Clifton in eggshell plus the essential supplies kit. There was a small issue that was resolved in the quickest time I’ve ever experienced.
As soon as I’m able to use the paint I will review again, but just wanted to first let everyone know from this small company you will receive the most amazing customer service.

"Peeling paint after only 4 months!"

After finally getting the right colour - since their samples aren't the same as the actual paint once it is dry. It's only been 4 months since we painted the walls and the paint has ALREADY started to peel!

We followed all their tips and instructions for preparing the walls, yet are left with horrid peeling patches that we're going to have to strip back and repaint - I'm tempted to just get a paint brand that I know is reliable, shame as the color was perfect. Let the paint hunt begin again!

"The BEST finish ever!!"

I hardly write reviews but I’m that chuffed I feel the need to…

I’m a DIY enthusiast and over the years have done my own decorating. It zones me out and resets my headspace. With that…… I have tried and tested probably every brand of paint over the years, never entirely happy….

I came across this brand whilst scrolling on instagram. I loved the idea of the peel samples, especially the categorised schemes for what I have, a North facing living room.

I initially purchased the samples of 9 shades. Moved them around on each wall for a couple of days at a time and narrowed down to “Mindful” in soft Sheen.

After two coats I CANNOT express how happy I am with the finish!! The colour really sets off what was a cold space. Definitely worth every penny in which I was worried about as it could have been an expensive mistake.

If you are unsure I’d definitely say go for it!! I’m about to order more for all the other rooms!!

Thank you COAT!! The best paint I’ve EVER used in my 28 years of trying!!

"Just does not match the sample…"

Just does not match the sample unfortunately.
Customer service were great and sent me a replacement tin, when I showed picks of the creamiest yellowest green you could find, which is supposed to be quite a strong green… but nope. It’s probably two shades lighter still, and I’m left with loads of this stuff now. Will need to go over it with something cheaper as I’m now out of budget.
Lovely to use paint but I wouldn’t buy again based on the colour issues with samples

"We strongly endorse Coat Paints"

Can thoroughly endorse Coat Paints and would even go as far as saying we are now converts from Farrow & Ball!
Their colour palette is gorgeous and the peel and stick samples a great tool too. Customer service and super quick delivery first rate.
As for quality, our decorating contractors were a little reluctant at first, but having now decorated two of our new builds, are now waxing lyrical on what a great coverage and finish the eggshell is.
Can thoroughly recomment.

"colours don't match"

If you read the reviews here a lot of people state that the colours don't match from tin to tin. This is correct. I bought the Organic Red Brown but on the wall it was a dark chocolate. I really don't know how they get away with it. Jim from customer support that the website is the best digital representation of the paint. Ok I can understand, but its not even remotely close. So now I'm stuck with a £50 tin of paint, off to B&Q.
