"I stayed despite it no longer being mandatory "

I was referred to Jobs 22 as I had been on sick leave from my university course for a year after becoming disabled during placement on my nursing degree. At the beginning I didn’t understand why I had been referred and was quite resentful because if I was well enough to work I’d be back doing my nursing. The support I received was amazing and they were so understanding of my situation and helped me when I had to come to terms with withdrawing from my course and registering as officially disabled. Zoe Malin has been exceptional, she is so understanding of my situation, deals with my up and down moods so well and always makes me feel better after our appointments. My sessions were no longer mandatory but I decided to stay and continue with the support with Zoe with the hope of looking for a new career and possible jobs working from home. She helped me with finding a course to do online which was funded by Jobs 22, and even though my health has took a bad turn again there has been no pressure to finish the course right now just when I can. She continues to support me and I know she will be amazing at finding the right job for me because she goes above and beyond with listening and understanding. I’m very grateful for Zoe.

Both are extremely helpful & responsive, and provide great service to their candidates by helping them with CVS's, trainings and vetting documents. Initially, I had low expectations for the programme. After my first meeting, i truly felt that my every word was listened to, understood and was done so without judgment. This may be because i was fortunate enough to work with Mark Taylor, an exemplary memeber of the team (everybody else did seem lovely too). A professional and helping relationship made me more confident, and anyone who joins the programme is privilaged to share their recourses too. Thankyou to mark for your support, and for being such a genuine and congruent helper to myself and in our community.

After being out of regular work for almost 7 years, due to raising a young family, I had been finding it extremely difficult to find a job that I would be happy in long term, and this was causing me a lot of stress. I’d started applying for jobs I had no interest in, but my coach, Zoe Malin was aware of my goals and aspirations. She took the time to learn about me, my life, my priorities. Not only has she been really understanding and supportive, but she also went above and beyond and she managed to help me find a role that would suit me perfectly, and which I am so looking forward to starting!!
