I had a positive experience with Grey Matters (Marc) in procuring a mortgage with Halifax. There was an issue with the original property that fell through and the terms of the mortgage were re-negociated quickly. I didn't feel bombarded with information.
A check list might have been good in preparation for contract exchange as I overlooked the requirement for buildings insurance for contract exchange. It wasn't a problem, as I was able to get a policy changed quickly with my insurance provider over the phone.
It was stated in the legal bundle fine print, but wasn't highlighted so I overlooked it.
Other than that, the process went smoothly from my perspective, with responsive service, that I'd recommend. Many thanks,

From start to finish the support and advice was excellent and for a change my expectations were well managed.
