"Simple Peptide Does NOT Stand Behind Its Products"

My previous experiences with Simple Peptide were great. Fast processing and shipping, and their prices are reasonable for a domestic peptide vendor. I've recommended them to my friends and co-workers who were interested in peptides. But my recent purchase of AOD did not go well at all and ensured that I will not be a customer of Simple Peptide again. And if you care about customer service, you shouldn't be a customer, either.

I reconstituted two vials of AOD, and the powder would not fully dissolve. I swirled it and swirled it, withdrew all the liquid with a syringe and injected it back into the vial several times. But the powder simply would not dissolve. If you are familiar with AOD, you will know that it is prone to gelling on occasion, but that is after the powder has been reconstituted and fully dissolved. This AOD is different from the AOD I purchased from many different vendors. It is bunk. Plain and simple.

Thereafter, I reconstituted the remaining 4 vials. Three dissolved fully and appear to be totally fine. One remaining vial was the same as the first two: it had a large clump that clung to the vial and would not dissolve no matter what I did.

Alex went back and forth with me through email for days, claiming that he stands behind his products. But, ultimately, he does not. Nor does he meet his so-called quality guarantee. His offer was to have me buy three more vials of his AOD, which have a 50 percent chance of being bunk, and he would give me three free vials. Why not just refund my money for the three vials that are garbage? Or maybe refund my money for the entire order because of all the trouble it caused?

Bottom line: Simple Peptide does not stand behind its products and will not provide a refund or replacement after it sends you some garbage that you would be crazy to use.

I expect that Alex will respond to this and claim that I just don't understand AOD and its peculiar properties. But I actually do. I've used this stuff for months and reconstituted many vials from many different vendors. The problem is not me or my knowledge. The problem is the product and the fact that Simple Peptide won't stand behind that product when it fails. There are many peptide vendors out there. I suggest that you pick another one.

RESPONSE TO REPLY: As expected, Alex's response is to: (1) blame the customer for his faulty product; and (2) claim to be standing behind his faulty product, while he actually does completely the opposite.

A few remarks in response to his reply:

"It is sensitive to the temperature of the product at reconstitution."

I would not know whether this is true, as I reconstituted all 6 vials at room temperature. They were stored, for a day, in a cool, dry place (my peptide case) and reconstituted under the same conditions. Yet, three have big clumps of snotlike material clinging to the vial, while three do not. Explain that.

I know this because I have actually researched the use of AOD more than YOU have, Alex. I have read all the posts about it on Reddit, weeks before you provided me with something that I have already read previously. I tried all the techniques that I have heard about to resolve the issue, before you mentioned them, and they did not work. No amount of swirling or withdrawing and reinjecting the reconstituted liquid would reduce the clumps.

I guess this is a matter of opinion. Should I just take your word for it that it is perfectly usable? Can you point me to some research that says this is the case? I think not.

And no, I do not intend to use the bad vials. This makes it sound like I am trying to cheat your company by getting a perfectly good product, then wanting my money back for it, while I keep and use the product. That narrative is false. I will not use the bad vials.

I am just out the money for your product that is allegedly covered by your money-back "quality guarantee." Oh, well. I will just leave the facts here, and anyone who is considering buying from Simple Peptide can take those facts into consideration.

Update: Alex from Simple Peptide wrote me a gracious apology and refunded all my money. It took a little longer than I would hope to resolve this, but I appreciate the way Alex ultimately handled this.
