"Unprofessional,false promises and incompetent Designer"

1) I signed up on Aug 15 2020 and as of today 25th Feb2021 there is no delivery date communicated. Their customer portal is meaningless.
2) The Designer assigned to my project Sandhya Gupta is an absolute novice, unprofessional and lacks creativity. She is not all organized and unresponsive. we are at the dead end of the project and she is unaware of the developments and day to day activities onsite. We have to remind her repeatedly for the pending work and coordination with her other colleagues. As she is unresponsive ,we have to work extra hard to coordinate with Design Cafe's different departments.
3) I thought furniture is made as per the walls ,but Design Cafe damaged my wall and removed skirting in certain areas without my approval. See pics attached.
4) Design Cafe perfectly exemplifies how to create a worst customer experience by trying to mimic established corporates by creating siloed departments who are unware what other department is up to. Hence customer has to deal with them separately.
4) Design Cafe's selection for Laminates and Lacquered glass are limited and even if we select few ,we are unpleasantly surprised to know its non-availability at the dead end of the project.
5) They are unavailable for issue resolution and pass the buck without any concrete resolution. Even if we escalate to Girjesh there is no outcome.
6) Thoroughly unprofessional and disorganized lot. There is no option to give zero stars else I would have given it.

"BEWARE OF DESIGN CAFE - CANCELLED MY CONTRACT AND SWITCHED TO DISCERN LIVING"

Absolutely pathetic experience and they work like government office after signing you. BEWARE of BAIT & SWITCH SCAM - Don't fall for their experience center and design consulting pitch. When you initially meet them they try to win your business by showing the experience center and an experienced designer. Once you sign they put you to somebody junior, most likely out of college designer to handle your project. After you make your payments, their response time for emails are usually 3 days to a week and your calls go unanswered. After several escalations and follow up they did not start my work as promised. Finally i reached out to their CEO - Shezan Bhojani and he ghosted me with no response to calls or messages. This was the shady moment i decided to cut my losses, cancel my contract and gave my business to another company called DISCERN LIVING. They completed the entire project in 4 weeks and finally was able to move into my new home as planned. Best decision i have made. Unfortunately since i already paid 5% advance to DESIGN CAFE, I was stuck and they were not ready to refund the money. Their business model involves huge marketing to sign customers in bulk, take their money and delay your project indefinitely. BEWARE OF DESIGN CAFE.

Team is very supportive and flexible to listen and give ideas on how it would look much more better. At end, me, my wife and our entire family is very happy with the final outcome.
