Horrible experiencia, me indicaban que mi tipo de empresa no era la óptimo para mí y me estaban casi obligando a cambiarme a una categoría diferente, sin embargo me negué ya que quería mantenerme como una fooreign owner US DE, no quería perder el beneficio de ser DE, y me atrasé en pagar los casi $3.000 y me llamaban y me enviaban mails que me iban a demandar porque les debía aun la mitad y luego que les indiqué que me tienen que hacer la presentación para el tax return, me dijeron que ellos no hacían eso para una DE, pueden creer eso?, me cobran y luego me dicen que no lo pueden hacer, es un abuso y un robo!, Los debería de demandar, pero como vivo fuera de USA no puedo, son unos ladrones.

By far the worst customer experience you will ever have. Transferred to different departments to other people that know less than the last person. All they care about is getting you credit card info correctly. Everything else is a crap shoot.

I engaged 1-800accountant to handle both my business and personal taxes, but despite paying in advance , I have yet to receive any completed documents. Specifically, my business taxes have been pending for over 3+ months. Despite repeated promises from their representatives, the work remains unfinished and unavailable for my review. Each time I've called their call center, I've encountered courteous non-US representatives who, unfortunately, are unable to connect me to any of the tax departments or management. I've spoken with multiple agents who assured me 5 times that my concerns would be escalated to a manager, yet after 8 weeks, I have not received any follow-up. Even my designated Tax Advisor has struggled to communicate with the tax accountant assigned to my case. As a paying customer, I really need my taxes completed promptly, but this company's inefficiency is causing additional delays.

They will take your money and then crickets after that. Mid June and I’m nowhere on my taxes. They’ve lied about multiple things. They never call you back. Your “dedicated accountant” cannot ever be reached. All you can do is book a 30 minute appointment 3 weeks out. I finally asked for a refund and they refused. I have a case open with the New York AG and the BBB and had to dispute the charge. This company is horrible!!!

I recently started an LLC, and the friendly people at 1-800Accountant are providing me with efficient, focused, and knowledgeable help through the process of compliance and business taxes. My tax advisor, appropriately named Perfect S., is doing a wonderful job guiding me through all the new requirements and terminology in a way that doesn't talk down to me, or assume I know more than I do. This place has good people!

I normally don't write reviews but want to save others from my experience. I am beyond the deadline to get a refund but wish I would have canceled in time. Even with filing an extension it took this company until the October 15th deadline to barely get my taxes done last year. I only stayed with them this year because they promised I would get one of their "expert teams." Nothing changed. They don't respond to messages often in their portal and calling the main number is pointless, they say they'll call you back and never do. They are incompetent and made many many errors on my return and almost a year later still have not compiled my amended return. Very basic stuff, too. My accountant told me he has over 800 clients at 1-800 accountant. They can't keep track of anything. There's so much more, too. If you want to waste literally hours each week just trying to get them to add the correct number in somewhere or something else extremely basic, then this is the company for you. If not, please stay away. Go with a local accountant probably is the best route.
