"Terrible Experience with Sendible Service"
Terrible Experience with Sendible Service
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent experience while attempting to downgrade my subscription with Sendible.
Despite multiple attempts, I found the process to be deliberately difficult and confusing. The steps to downgrade were not clearly outlined, and the navigation was intentionally obfuscated, making it exceedingly frustrating to complete what should have been a straightforward task.
From their layout and accessible help articles, it is inferred that an increase in users and the ability to "send for approval" was only possible with an account upgrade; therein, it is reasonable to assume when downgrading a subscription these users and functionalities are removed. However, I was charged an additional fee and lost all functionalities when querying this as a ticket. There was no easily accessible help article to support me with this query, so I was informed I had to manually delete each user. On completion of this task, I was told that I had to go in and manually remove each user once deleted, upon which I was offered store credit. I'm just simply communicating my dissatisfaction with being offered credit for a service in which I had already spoken to their complaints team of being both unsatisfactory and too expensive.
As a consumer, I am entitled to clear, accessible options for managing my subscriptions under UK consumer law. Specifically, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 mandates that services should be provided with reasonable care and skill. Making it intentionally difficult for customers to change their subscription options violates this principle.
Furthermore, the offer of store credit as compensation for this inconvenience is unacceptable. According to UK consumer law, when a service does not meet the expected standards or obligations, customers are entitled to a more appropriate form of redress, including refunds or adjustments to the service provided. Sendible’s refusal to offer a refund is in breach of UK Consumer Law, and the case is currently with the Ombudsman.
I urge anyone considering using Sendible to be aware of these issues. Their service is not only difficult to navigate but also fails to meet legal standards for customer care and service quality.

"Unethical way of working"
Not sure that this company will particularly care about customer reviews given their deeply unethical way of working. I've had 765 euros taken from my bank account to renew my subscription. I haven't used Sendible much in 2024, and certainly wasn't aware that i had auto-renew checked on my subscription. With no warning by email that my renewal was coming up, (regular ethical practice from other similar subscription platforms) I am now being repeatedly told that I have no recourse, despite contacting them within hours of receiving the invoice and seeing the money gone from my account. As a sole trader this is a huge chunk of cash for me to lose in this way and I'm astonished at their total lack of flexibility or understanding.... all communications from them have been totally disingenuous and rhetorical. If you want a laugh, check out the values they claim to espouse on their website. Spoiler alert... they are cutely wrapped around the acronym C.A.R.E.S.

"Lacking feature, UX is bad."
The most confusing software ever used, a simple thing, try to post a video to test - can't do that, only button"send now" or "schedule", then, 'scheduling' didn't work?! UI is just confusing as hell. No option to customise thumbnail for Tiktok. No Playlist options for Youtube. Ridiculous! I've tried so many apps, this one is one of the worst.

"Things can change!"
At first, we didn't feel like tha customer support was the best, but they fixed it all by inviting to a videocall and simply handled everything so professionally and changed our minds. With the best care, they found the best solution for us.
