Just recently bought my second car from these guys. And 5 star service once again, especially Trevor, dealt with him on both occasions and always had an easy transaction and he has always gone that extra mile to give you the best service. Will be back again in a few more years for my next one. Would highly recommend using these guys, all are top class 👍

"Avoid the hassle"

Bought a Peugeot 508 online. Price was fair. Delivered on time and for fair price. Nicely valeted. No exterior issues.

Took delivery of car and noticed a clunking noise while driving and vibration through steering wheel after driving it first time. Phoned car city uk and advised to use warranty provided as lived a fair distance away. Took vehicle to independent garage and they diagnosed a fault on steering arm. Also £500 issues with rear suspension 'should of not passed MOT'.

'Ultimate' warranty agreed to pay for steering but not suspension.

Promised 'recent' service on online advert Was 6 months since last last service in service book upon delivery. Service at independent garage showed me oil filters etc. hadn't been done for at least 6 months. Sneakily the service interval on the onboard computer had been reset though to when then car was purchased. The inboard lights also didn't work and as alluded to before there was also very little coolant for the engine.

Crack in windscreen, minor but cost £40 to repair. Not complaining about that.

Multiple calls and emails either ignored or 'will sort it' and no call back or we use local garages for services and invoices come in at the end of the month we will send it. It was never sent.

It's a second hand car so can't expect it perfect but has cost me £1000 to get it roadworthy. And the 'ultimate' warranty is more like mediocre. Also good luck getting a garage to do warranty work.

To be honest bought a amazing car from them, they where very helpful with eveything up until the car was mine. After you recive your car you better hope and pray nothing goes wrong because the delership will be no help at all, first thing was the warrenty was covered on the incorrect reg and i have messaged and called with the promise it would be corrected and they also failed to give me details on the cars service overall just be careful and do your checks on the car becuase if anything goes wrong they will be no help.

"Disappointed …"

Bought a car from these people and everything went smoothly at first until 1 day after bringing the car home I discovered car had only 2 weeks MOT left to run and had not been serviced as promised. Contacted them and they were full of apologies and arranged to have the car picked up at my place of work. Well it’s been 7 days now and despite them insisting that a driver was on his way nobody turned up and my phone calls have not been returned. I have had to pay for a MOT myself as it ran out a few days ago and also a service on top of that setting me back close to £300. I would look elsewhere if anyone is thinking about buying a car from here and if you have check your MOT status on your vehicle just to be sure they have done it. Only positive thing is car seems to be ok and I’m very pleased with it.
