"Origin Institute are misleading you…"

Origin Institute are misleading you about their Traffic Controller Course
The Traffic Managment and Stop Bat units that you see advertised on their website don't qualify you to work directly for a traffic control company. You are supposed to do the TC1-TMI1 Combined Skill Set, which they don't actually offer, but they hide this information in their website in the fine print. Went to the class only to find ou later from employers. Be careful, a lot of people have been fooled into buying their useless traffic manamgnent training .

"Quality training from Origin.Edu.Au?"

Firstly, this course was something I paid to attend. It wasn’t a gift, it wasn’t something I was given for free, it was something that I had a financial interest in.

• The trainer arrived late – traffic issues apparently
• The trainer took around ½ an hour to set up
• The course finally started around 0930
• The trainer was dressed in an old black t-shirt and pair of shorts made from a pair of cutdown work trousers, he wore an old pair of work boots, giving an overall look that was less than professional
• The trainer read every word directly from the PowerPoint, presentation, no explanation was given about anything he read
• There was no student engagement throughout the class
• The trainer addressed himself to the left hand side of the class, barely acknowledging anyone to his right
• For reasons best known to himself, the trainer left the PowerPoint screen projection minimised.
• Maybe he was able to read it more easily from his position seated directly behind his computer facing the screen, but it was of little or no benefit to the class
• Students attending the class can have little fear of failing the course, the assessment process, as it was conducted on the day, didn’t measure anything in any real way
• The class was concluded by around 1330, giving a total time, (less ½ an hour for lunch) of 3 and ½ hours of actual class time, including the ‘assessment’

This was the most poorly organised and run class I have ever attended, it was without doubt the worst I have ever been in. Making sure everyone in the class gets away early doesn’t mean quality training, it means short-cuts and laziness.

Choose wisely and above all, don't get sick. You'll not see your money again and rescheduling will cost you an extra $75. Origin's interest in you ends with how much money they can get of you.
Their response? Basicly- we are only following orders. Famous last words for some.

My nephew booked with this RTO and when he was unable to complete the course because he did not get a link to the enrolment. When he attended he was not able to do the enrolment and administration requirements. When he tried to rebook he was advised it will cost $119 to reschedule.

I booked my 15 year old son in for his white card for work experience.
They wouldn’t let thin do it do the course due to and skin error and wouldn’t reschedule or refund my money.

"It isnt a school at all"

It isnt a school at all, all they want is money. They just told you that they are better then lots of school, the teacher is domestic, but actually its from china and you won’t able to understand the accent. The class was speaking Chinese most of the time as long as the teacher can’t explain in “English”. And one thing you won’t get any money back if you want a refund. Lillian, Tiffany and Wayne Dong they are the in charge and manager of this company. Let’s make complain and kick this shxx out of Australia.

Hi again,
I did a review only few days back, after numerous emails Origin refunded my money less $60 they charge.
The lady who seems to be in charge there a Lillian Wang is a heartless human being, she would never consider my request and from all the reviews on here she the witch of Origin has no idea of customer service.
It’s also a huge scam by Worksafe who recommended Origin but will never support students with issues we have faced.
To all with similar complaints please join me in making formal complaint with ACurrent Affair who will take story on if there is enough interest.

"Extremely poor and unhelpful…"

Extremely poor and unhelpful communication between company and customer. Totally money oriented, approach that is not at all about the customer/student/learner. Slapped together course printed on black and white paper, read word for word. Poor course content creation, facilitation and delivery. Communication is mostly via automated emails and sms. Making changes or communicating with the company is tedious and painful at best. My recommendation would be to look elsewhere for a better experience.

SCAM! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
THEY DO NOT HELP YOU CHANGE CLASS IF YOU BOOK IT WRONG DATE OR CHANGE TO A DIFFERENT COURSE, REASON IS THAT IT IS FLASH SALE, IT'S ABOUT THEY MAKE MONEY, NOT ABOUT STUDENT!
