"Gutted"

One of the oldest asian online supermarkets, and used to be the best. i have been a customer for about 15 years, but no more. i have tried to shop there 3 times and failed because If you order frozen items as part of your order along with dry items, these will now be split into TWO separate orders. They will be delivered to the same delivery address but they will arrive as two separate consignments. Unfortunately, there will be separate delivery charges for both.

If you spend £55 and over you will receive FREE delivery. If you order dry and fresh/frozen, this will be treated as TWO separate orders and you will need to spend £55 on both to receive free delivery.. utter madness. every single asian online supermarket will put all your items in the same box. THIS STORE WON'T. i wrote to them to get things changed, but got no reply. sayonara oriental, i will be shopping at foodforfoodies, starrymart, and the rest.

The best price I've yet found for the finest Chinese sauce I have EVER tasted, hence I ordered 5 jars. They were posted to me very swiftly & well packaged, therefore I'll be ordering from them again.

My office sponsored a social Chinese New Year online get together event. Where we all got a budget to order Chinese food. It being lockdown, I placed an order from Orientalmart. They clearly had a great deal of business on the run up to Chinese New Year and they couldn’t guarantee delivery. That’s understandable. Couriers and deliveries were all getting delayed in COVID, especially around festivities.

My delivery came just in time, and before the date given on the website. It was my first time ordering from these guys and I have to say they really did try their best to get the orders out. I didn’t get any of the stuff that was marked down on the website (probably other ppl got them) and it would have been nice if they’d asked if I wanted replacements. But given how busy it was in the run up to Feb, and niche product offering, I was happy to receive my order.

Have now placed 2 orders, every orders arrives immaculately packaged, all glass items bubble wrapped individually. All items are clean dust free super shiny and are high quality. Translations label are on appropriate items :) pricing is excellent I compared all items. I am impressed. I was personally called about a short delay because of an out of stock item but this was replenished in 3 days. A faultless customer service.
