I had previously purchased a “Proper” touch up pencil from the dealership as you do sometimes when you buy a new vehicle. The truth is the pencil’s (there are 2 of them) didn’t cut the mustard, the colour match was poor and the paint never seemed to set?
The Chipex kit that I recently purchased was much better, the colour match is great and after following the application instructions the results are much better. I wish I had bought the Chipex originally and saved the £25 cost of the touch up pencil.

I am really pleased with the results of today’s paint fix a small stone chip on the drivers door. Deceivingly deeper than it look with a few layers built up across the day and some gentle blending in between it is barely noticeable. Very cost effective paint chip remedy.
