Just brought a new car and there was few stone chips that were too deep to polish out. I looked at having a company sort them but this was going to be very costly. I then found Chipex and thought for less than I’d spend in an afternoon in the pub it was worth a shot.

My kit arrived promptly and once the weather allowed I thought I’d try a discreet chip on my wing. I was amazed by the result, it did take a few coats but for a first time user it was a very simple prpro

Delivery stated on order 2 to 4 days, arrived in 4 days. I haven't tried it yet due to weather etc. but keep getting asked how it was. Maybe another review wgen I have tried it but so far service has been good.

The purchase process on the website was simple and straightforward. The product arrived as promised with everything you need to carry out the work.

I was somewhat sceptical of the claims made about this product but I am eating my words now.

The process takes care, patience and attention. After reading all the material and watching videos I managed to get a window in the weather to tackle some unsightly marks in my rear bumper. It took me about an hour to deal those marks and a few minor chips on the bonnet.

I lost the light of the day so thought I’d come back in the morning to see the results. Wow! Really happy with how it looks.

"Would not try"

Color match looked good, but the results were bad. Watched all their tutorials and a bunch of other videos and the outcome did not look good. Didn’t actually cover any spots and a couple spots are even more noticeable now.

"I have to be honest, not great"

I have to be honest. The scratch kit was really bad, it either bobbled too much, or the solution dissolved the paint too much - at best it masks the scuff colour a little amount but it’s definitely not an effective “repair” - I could actually see some more after attempting repair, and I followed the instructions thoroughly. Disappointed I have to say.

"Excellent product that I'd happily purchase again"

I've used Chipex on my Sapphire Black BMW which was suffering from quite bad road rash and a few scratches it had picked up over the years. I followed the instructions and I really can't fault the results. Some of the deeper chips have needed a couple of passes of paint but they're literally invisible now. I'd happily recommend this product.
