"Sack the sales agent!"
Tried to book over the phone. Must say, and cannot stress this enough, Chris was a lovely guy and one of the best/most helpful sales agents I’ve ever spoken to. He wasn’t at all pushy and gave me the best insight into the products.
However, the other agents at the company were the exact opposite. I can’t remember their names except one called Roman. They were more pushy and only had one agenda in mind.
So the kid’s birthday took place elsewhere unfortunately. Maybe would book with Bedlam if it had only been Chris I’d have spoken to!

"DON'T PUT YOURSELF THROUGH THIS!!!!"
First thing... these guys are middle men and will only hook you up with the nearest site that they are affiliated with, so you will be charged more than if you book direct with the site. Their website reeled me in with pictures of a fantastic location with high grade arenas full of structures to hide in and fight through. i was told that after i paid a deposit then we would pay on the day per person. we would be having 8 games and would be playing from 10am to around 4pm, all good so far...
we arrived at the location.
the marshals and guys that were running the site were good and doing their best but, the site was dilapidated with no toilets, the females in our booking had to wait hours before finding a toilet.. the guns were old and not in working order so you spent a lot of your time getting them fixed so you could get back to the game. the site was a forest with tarpaulins strung up between the trees and that was it.. no structures and limited space..people were tripling over in the vast undergrowth as no care had been taken with the site.. even the guys running it said the equipment was old and unfit to be used and the owner had not invested anything into it.. no kidding.. i have been to some great sites around the uk but this was ridiculously appalling.
the site told us we were having 4 games and not 8 and that nationwide knew this and they also informed me that the payment for the day had been made through nationwide and not to them directly.
sure enough my bank account had been emptied and it took several weeks to get the cash back from the twenty people involved as you can imagine it was just painful and so easily avoided if nationwide had been truthful about the whole booking process.. they are incompetent at best and are only interested in getting the booking and do not care what happens after that.
i complained to nationwide over several phone calls.. they played games telling me i was speaking to the company directer when i knew was speaking to the guy who took the original booking due to his droning accent.. they said he was then sick and only he could authorize a refund as they had also over charged me on top of the poor experience! no way i was getting compensation for that...
they effectively called me a liar several times during these conversations even though i had it all in black and white in an email.... three weeks later after sending them their booking email back to them to confirm my story they refunded the the money that they had overcharged me back to my account.
several weeks later i received my phone bill and it was £80 higher than normal.. i called my provider and they told me i had been making calls to a premium number but that i should have been informed by the company involved this was the case...so they also shafted me on the complaint calls to them to sort out the complete mess they made of our day out.
clearly this is a bedroom run company with three people who haven't got a clue what they are selling and will tell you anything for the booking.. with incompetence over the whole process and after customer service that will make the calmest among us want to reach for the bottle or book a therapy session.
Did you actually just put my personal information ( email address ) on to a public website!!! Data protection!! point proved!! Nothing to add to my other points? Take it down immediately...

Booking was a breeze. The gentlemen were most polite and helpful and not at all pushy. Haven't held the party yet so can't comment on the actual splatmaster and venue, but I can say the information and conversations with the Scottish agents lead me to have much faith in the product. Party planned mid November in Reading.

Made a query, to what I got a quick reply. Booked everything and 10 min later the venue called saying that they messed up and the venue wouldn't work that day.

Absolutely cannot fault both the booking process and on the day. All staff were friendly and helpful, food was great, toilets clean, drinks reasonable price. Overall 10/10 would recommend this place to anyone.
