"It just cant praise them enough"

It was an absolute pleasure to deal with these guys - from the initial meeting to saying goodbye after the furniture drop.
The removal team were helpful, polite, efficient, careful, conscientious and the work rate was second to none.
I would definitely recommend this company and would certainly use this firm again .

"First class service"

First class service. The team could not have done more. They were polite, helpful and planned the packing of our home on to the vans with due care and attention. They went above and beyond, even offering to remove a headboard and fix our bed to a mounted headboard in our new home. We would highly recommend this company who were also reasonably priced.

"Martin and I have had a very successful…"

Martin and I have had a very successful and stress-free move from London to Manchester thanks to RP Removals!

We had never used a company before, so had our reservations but these quickly disappeared when 3 very professional and polite gentlemen showed up at our door very much on time! :)

The whole end to end was amazing, they worked quickly & carefully and very very polite the entire time and very helpful. They disassemble all our stuff and drove it up, to then reassemble. It was no small job! Took about 12 hours in total (incl the drive).

We cannot recommend them enough - and we will certainly be using them again in the future.

"Avoid, unless you want 1/3 of your items left behind and your property spat on."

Was quoted an 18tn truck with 4 - 5 guys, 8am, they turn up with a low loader and 2 guys, and I am told that the bigger truck will be with us in about an hour. So they come in and start packing, great, each time one of the packers goes out of the house and before re entering spits on my drive, in places where my two year old would be walking upon her return from nursery. I counted at least five times where he spat on my drive. After sharing a look with this guys team leader I suspect that he said something to him, because he didnt do it again, and then when I mentioned it to him he claims not to have seen it.

So, we fast forward to 4pm, when the second truck turns up along with 2 more bodies, but isnt the size truck that is quoted, nor is is another low loader, but IS FULL of someone elses house clearance that they then have to empty on to my drive in order to load up with my items.

Things then appear to start moving faster and items are STILL being packed.

Another hour or so later a third person comes with another truck, and that takes people away from loading my items into the van so that they can then reload the third van with the house clerance items and then expect my items to go in with that.

Im sorry, but I dont want my items in with another person trash.

so, an entire truck full of items is still left at the property after 13 hours of packing. I am just lucky that I have the house whilst i get it ready to sell.

The next day, i discover that my bin is scratched to hell and high water, and then their lead guy blames it on the dog, however there are no other marks on the bin, and the marks are in such consistent mannner, of having items placed on top and conitnually rubbed back and forth. Also this is a relatively new (3 months old, £200 bin), do you really think that the dog is going to be allowed to cause that much damage and was immaculate prior to loading.

They also damaged a lamp shade, kitchen items and a now irreplaceable Crystal glass which means I now have an incomplete set from my wedding gifts. Thanks for shattering some memories.

Not even half way through unloading thier office calls up and demands payment, I advised when the job is complete and we have discussed damages. I then advise them of my issues over the phone and they say that their guy never reported any issues despite me raising

1. Spitting
2. Disgarded cigarette ends left on my drive, i know their not ours as we dont smoke
3. items had to be left behind because of the amount of time spent packing and the need to get moved
4. they turn up unprepared and with items in their truck that then cause further delays.

So, after telling them, I will pay when the job is complete they are told to down tools by their office.

Im ok with this, and say they can stay in the house, or they can go to the van as I am closing the door because it was a bit chilly.

Eventually their boss comes on the phone and we go round in circles and eventually agree I will pay when the job is complete. After all, why would you pay full price for an incomplete service.

I then arrange a meeting with their boss, and I accept his father is ill and in hospital and going to have heart surgery that weekend so arrange for the week later. I got a text today saying he cant meet me for the same excuse, so am rapidly losing faith in the fact we will actually meet.

The pack unpack service was selected because I have had knee reconstruction surgery and am restricted and the wife, is pregnant, has our little one, and the animals to look after so not a viable option for either of us.

The unpack element of this is a joke, not really asked where or which cupboards items should go into, items are left in the most random of places, I still have boxes that are not unpacked that could have been.

They also left connection pipes for my washing machine back at the other property, and then had to take more time out of doing the job to source a replacement.

They couldn't connect the dishwasher and asked if they could break the kitchen units inside because they didn't have the right tools with them.

I would have had the tools, if they had have moved everything, but still all my tools are 140 miles away.

So, the pack, unpack, disassemble, assemble service is not worth paying for. If I had have known how painful it was going to be, I would have taken the pain with my knee and done it all myself.

When it came to payment also, all the removals people stood around me as if they were the heavies or part of a mob for payment. Even with a bad knee, if they want to act like this, Im not afraid to give or take a beating and will not be intimidated by anyone.

I can see why they do not invite customers to make reviews, but I am happy to seek them out so that if anyone does read this, they know exactly what they are getting.
