"Shipment Thawed Out"

My shipment arrived a day late. Consequently, most of my items were completely thawed out (about 75%) and a couple had damaged/defective plastic wraps. I reached out via email and was told I should have purchased the shipping insurance (I have never in my several years of meat subscription have I ever). Perhaps more dry ice packages would have helped to plan for unforseen events. I was asked approximately how many items were damaged for claims purposes; thinking I'd be receiving some kind of reimbursement. Unfortunately, there was none. Altogether, a disappointing experience.

The delivery was fast, the steak and ground beef is lean, and tastes delicious. There was also great portion sizes, not skimpy like some companies. And we really appreciated the gift of the filet mignon.

Only problem we had was we need more freezer space for our next order from here!

Having ordered from different farms prior...I found the pricing for the quality to be remarkable.
Packaging was way above the others that we had received in the last few months.
FROZEN SOLID and not just thrown in a box but labeled and separated by individual boxing.

(If you've never ordered directly from a farm this can be a difficulty ordering in the summer months especially when not enough cold packs)

Not even a sarcastic peep from the wifey about me wanting to order more meat already for the fam...thinking carne asada 🥩

Not for sure yet. Meat is still in the freezer as my pellet smoker crapped out after over 10 years of service. I was supposed to cook the brisket for my son's birthday this weekend, now it will be burgers and smoked sausage. I still have two charcoal and one big propane grill working. Oh, and the new Grilla Silverbac should be delivered next week. Hope it last as long as the first one did because we use it a LOT.
