"Good quality product, but poor delivery service"

THE POSITIVES
Ordering online was easy and product descriptions were clear.
The garage racking is good quality and very simple to erect - nothing other than a mallet required.
I am happy that I have received value for money.

THE BIG NEGATIVE
In my case, the delivery process was appalling. I received an email before 8.00am on two consecutive days advising that the goods would be delivered between 8.00am and 6.00pm that same day. On both occasions delivery di not happen and there was no warning of problems or sign of apology from the appointed courier DX. Two consecutive days of lost earnings for me!
On the third consecutive day, the same email arrived and this time the delivery happened but not until 4.00pm, so another day of lost earnings.
Tufferman hid behind it being a third party problem beyond their control and suggested "these things happen"! There is a clear lack of understanding that their legal obligations to their customer does not end once they dispatch the products at their factory gate.
Grudgingly, I will concede that Tufferman refunded the £18 delivery charge....totally inadequate compensation for my lost earnings.
