I meet all of the requirements for a simple payday loan from check city, but because I don't have my "actual" social security card to show them( for proof of my phone number?? as I was informed) I can't go through the application process. I offered up a copy of my tax return which has my name and SS# on it and a copy of my Social Security Administration statement of benefits, both of these were turned down. Nothing else will do. I'm not applying for a $50,000 loan! Jeez. Just a payday loan for 2 weeks! Not everyone has their actual social security card on them! They need more than one way to verify information. I'm not even sure why they need my actual card! Never had to submit it before.
