Excellent service and very easy to work with. I have to say it’s the first time I’ve actually had a good experience doing building work. When things needed to change it was all about what we wanted and what worked for us and not what’s the easier option, always a partnership and nothing was too much trouble. If you are trying to decide between Artful and Arches and someone else, do yourself a favour and just go with Artful and Arches you won’t be disappointed. Naz and Clara make a dynamite team! Naz is a brilliant perfectionist of a builder and ashtrays does things right by you. Clara keeps the management of the project on track whilst bringing in the human side. Together they built us a fabulous new bathroom which is a great new additional at to the house. Can't recommend them enough!!

We had Naz and Clara complete an extension rebuild from start to finish, and installation of a Schmidt kitchen.
Naz is a hard-working and committed professional with a positive attitude. He is punctual and takes pride in his work. All projects have unexpected issues, Naz dealt with these in his stride. He's always on hand to deal with any questions or concerns.
Clara did a great job communicating with suppliers etc to ensure things ran smoothly behind the scenes.
We are really happy with the standard of work and I'm sure the future will bring more happy clients!

Naz’s workmanship and team are fantastic. Clean, respectful and most importantly their work is very high quality. It’s such a pleasure to find a tradesman that is so proud of his work and will not stop until it’s genuinely perfect.

Every project faces its hiccups for what ever reason but the way in which both of them deal with these and help to find solutions meant that there was no stress and everyone kept a smile on their face.

Thoroughly enjoyed working with them both, wouldn’t hesitate to use them for my next project and will definitely be recommending them!

"Faultless tiling and Naz & Clara are lovely!"

Naz tiled our large barn kitchen absolutely perfectly! The tiles were very large, porcelain, and had to be cut with special tools I think. They were cut perfectly with no breakages I am so fussy and all the grout lines had to be absolutely straight with my kitchen units. Not easy as the kitchen is in a 500 year old barn so walls not straight. I’m not sure how Naz did it but they are aligned perfectly! He ialso left the kitchen floor very clean each evening. He is such a lovely man and his wife Clara is really lovely too. Great communication and a pleasure to deal with. Naz will now be tiling my downstairs toilet shortly. Highly recommend!

We recently used Artful and Arches to renew our kitchen. It was a big job as we were completely changing the layout, and needed all new plumbing, electrics, ceiling, plastering - everything was changing.

Nazim and his team did a fantastic job. But as well as doing amazing work, Naz went above and beyond for us on several occasions, doing extra remedial works just because they needed doing. He was always available on the phone or by text, as was Clara.

We installed the kitchen ourselves, and so of course, came upon some difficulties, which Naz very kindly helped us with, offering advice, support and even his labour along the way.

Clara also came to the rescue, ensuring that we had everything we needed to make the work go smoothly.

If I had to pick something to criticise, I would say that our garden is in a bit of a state, with some rubble and building waste remaining, but this is a small thing and it certainly wouldn’t stop me from using Naz and his team again.

In short, I’d highly recommend Artful and Arches.

Artful and Arches were recommended to us by Schmidt Kitchens, Barnet, to carry out the building, plumbing and electrical work associated with our new kitchen which was completed in August 2021 (Schmidt only supplied the furniture and appliances and completed the “dry fit”).
From the start we were impressed with Nazim and his approach to the job. He was very polite, considerate and careful; he was proud of his work and somewhat of a perfectionist – which suited us fine. He was very flexible, meeting our requirements which sometimes changed or developed as the job progressed, fitting in around the kitchen installers and the gas boiler installer. The fact that Nazim is multi-skilled and able to do all the jobs himself without bringing in other tradesmen certainly helped to make everything run more smoothly. He even made a special trip to be with us when the kitchen installers needed to know where the electrical switches for the appliances were required – leaving Clara in hospital about to give birth to their first child. (Fortunately, he was back in time for the birth!)
Clara remained available throughout for queries and responded to our emails. As a director of this company and a designer with Schmidt Kitchens, she provided a valuable link between the two companies and helped to ensure that the total kitchen replacement went as smoothly as possible.
We have no hesitation in recommending Artful and Arches and would certainly approach Nazim and Clara again if we needed more work around the house. Having a kitchen rebuild can be stressful, but Nazim and Clara were such a delightful, personable couple, it was a pleasure to have them around. With their dedication and hard work, we wish them well.
