I have been taking voice lessons for over a year now. I enjoy singing in the church choir and singing in general. I always wanted to take voice lessons.

Working with Junior has not only helped me understand and strengthen my ability to sing a particular song with the proper delivery, but it has also strengthened me as a person.

It has boosted my self-confidence. I no longer keep things in. I can speak out and share how I feel with confidence. It has not only helped me at work but also in my personal life.

I had the pleasure of working with Junior Kukuewa Jr for the better part of two years while I was stationed in Hawaii. I’d come to him particularly insecure about singing, I wasn’t terrible, but lacked breath support, knowledge of voice resonance, and above all CONFIDENCE. Junior, is not just a vocal coach he’s honestly a life coach. The man will never allow you to doubt your own ability, he’ll only encourage you to push and grow. A philosophy I learned from him, never be afraid to color outside the lines. If a note fell flat or a slight mistake was made, we’d shake it off and started again. I’m the most confident and proud of my voice than I’ve ever been and I truly don’t think that would’ve happened without him, and I could not recommend him more to anyone. My 11-yr-daughter needed to improve her voice in a very short amount of time to oli/chant strong for her hula competition. (She’s a kind of girl who always talks so soft almost like mumbling.) We had only two weeks or so left before the comp, Junior instructed her to focus on practicing just this one exercise as much as possible, so she did. Towards the very end of her journey to the comp, she was practicing her oli and said “ wow I can’t believe this is my voice. It doesn’t sound like mine at all! “ She gained so much confidence, she had a lot of fun on the stage! Thank you Junior, for always encouraging her with patience, guiding her with positive attitude, we absolutely owe you this 1st place🥇 award! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!

Just a couple lessons was all it took for me to have so much more awareness of how to use the muscles required to sing. Valuable information that I can also take with me for public speaking, leadership roles, and more. Very happy with my experience!
