Eventually was able to book our trip after numerous issues with on line reservation and bank payment .
Eventually had to book via the office ( rather than on line ) which inevitably cost more ... !!
That extra for the same trip was difficult to accept and even during attempts on line , the price went upwards .
Anyhow , eventually reached my goal , a reservation via emails and bank transfer . Let's see how the trip work out !!

Just booked a holiday to Greece with Abbey. Nothing was to much trouble came back with the many questions I had and was so helpful. Will definitely book through her and the company again.

We booked through Inspired Luxury Escapes via Travelzoo and stayed at the Mitsis Rodos Village in Kiotari. Disappointed. Several major issues: 1) We were told the hotel was on the beach - that was not the case. In order to reach the beach it was a question of crossing the main coast road over a bridge, walking through the grounds of the Mitsis Rodos Maris hotel, crossing another road and then walking to the beach. About 5 minutes in total, but there were about 80 steps to climb as well. Not great. 2) The food was very, very average. Just was not appetising and had no real taste. Even the specialist restaurants were very disappointing. 3) We had water gushing (and I mean gushing!) out of the dining room ceiling during one evening meal time. Water went everywhere and even onto the food and some serving plates which obviously became contaminated. 4) We had some work done on the wall of the hallway outside our bedroom door. A panel of the wall was removed and workmen were looking at some pipework that was set into the wall. The dust and dirt from their work was just left lying in the hallway and was only cleared when the cleaners came next morning. The workers appeared next day and again left dust and dirt lying in the hallway. It never occurred to them to clear the mess up. Again, it was left to the cleaners to clear up!
On the plus side - the the staff were very friendly and professional and the evening shows we attended were excellent. It is such a shame that a few issues let the hotel down so badly. If these problems can be addressed, especially the problems with the food, then the hotel has great potential. It has the potential to be a 5 star hotel, but, as things stand, I would give it no more than 3.5 stars.
