Greenbelt have always been very responsive to our community needs and professional in their approach. Nick and Jo are always on hand if needed, and nothing is too much trouble. Indeed, they have gone out of their way to work with York Council to help resolve wider issues we have faced. Greenbelt have also supported us generously by donating prizes for our community activities.

Greenbelt have been very supportive in providing litterpicking equipment for our community litter picks in Hamilton. Every couple of months we run a litter pick and inevitably the pickers get broken, the bags get used up etc. Nick has been really kind in topping up what we need and has even managed to join us occasionally.

Since the middle of 2021, Northstowe Town Council has been working with representatives from Greenbelt, who are gradually taking on more of the management and maintenance of the green space across the new town. Communications have been personal, open, two-way and good throughout, allowing the Town Council to pass on important and correct information to the residents. Greenbelt were also quick to offer a generous amount towards the costs of a Christmas tree for the community, and have done so again for 2022. :)

Super lovely, friendly and helpful team member on the call today. I recently lost my job and had been worrying about paying the bill. They kindly took off the late payment charge and explained that the bill is forward-looking so I could set up a monthly DD to cover the payment. A little weight off my mind today - thank you!

Greenbelt have asked for this review on the first day of their "service", after demanding payment up front and threating late fees from the off - I didn't "choose" Greenbelt.
They arranged a meeting with one of their customer representatives for our estate at 3pm, when they knew most people on the estate would be out working.
They are charging aprrox 157 per house per year. To cut the grass twice a year so I'm told, the grass that is currently nothing but thistles and weeds.
I'm pretty sure I could pay our local gardener to do the estate for a lot less and get a better service.
Ridiculous cheeky Greenbelt, considering you've done nothing so far!!
If the future service is worth the total amount for the estate, I will re-evaluate this review

"Greenbelt - an excuse of a company"

Government regulations around factors needs a complete review. These companies are appointed by house builders, leaving the homeowners with very little leverage to have issues addressed or to appoint factors of their won choosing. Greenbelt have a library of excuses as to why work either wasn't carried out, or was done to a very poor standard. Allegedly the site condition is audited by a site manager, I assume these individuals must be accompanied by their guide dog!
