I am a resident on a Greenbelt managed site in the north of England and I am very happy with the service they provide. The wildflower corridor at the back of the houses looks beautiful in summer and it’s full of butterflies. In genral the whole site is very well maintained.

I agree with Roy's comments, I have lived on my development in the South of England for 6 years. The standard of work certainly adds value to my property. Friends have always commented when they come over in summer, how lovely the upkeep is of the area as compared to the surroundings. Check your deeds you know what you pay for, should not be a surprise to you.

"Dettrimental reviews."

I have noticed several reviews that are very uncomplimentary to this company, I live on one of their sites and find the service excellent, we are surrounded by trees and they are inspected yearly, i think people do not understand you cannot just go round cutting down trees without the permission of the local council. our amenity areas are looked after nothing else to say.

Are the management at this company so blatantly thick that they are unable to see that 99% of all reviews they get rated 1 or less across all review platforms.

Greenbelt charge extortionate rates for repairs and as residents we have had independent quotes that can offer the same repairs at less than half what Greenbelt charge.

The quality of work is poor quality and substandard and we are currently in the process of completing a 30 minute online documentary to show this company for what they are. The quality of work is poor, they have just planted a few bushes along one of the walk ways at Hartley Green Gardens and not in any kind of pattern or order. The mess that will now overspill onto the pavements will be much worse and as a resident that Greenbelt say owns the pavement will be charging £65 plus an admin and inspection fee every time that I need to get the pavement jet washed.

I’m really happy with the service that Greenbelt supply. The park and surrounding areas are will maintained and are kept to high standard. The kids love the park. The contractors do a great job and are always pleasant to speak too. I have had good communication from Greenbelt when ever I have queried anything and the site manager is always friendly and willing to explain why certain things have been done and about future plans. A good service all round.

An awful organisation, offering a very poor or no service and their Customer Care is laughable.

Biggest con going! Been paying £14 odd quid every quarter for you to cut a small bit of grassed area which i dont even use then i have just checked my bank and you have been taking money out every month at the same rate as what i pay every quarter!

Iv cancelled my DD and be ringing you up first thing monday morning!!

Don’t ever see anyone doing any work, although every 3 or 4 weeks in the summer there’s evidence of cut grass. Unbelievable admin charge that seems only to be for sending bills and responding to complaints.

The first point I would like to make is Green Belt do not bother with a response! Looking at the others it's just meaningless nonsense.

You can say all you want this is a rip off and there is very little residents can do about it. I have managed grounds maintenance contractors in the past and your overall approach and costing is a very poor deal for customers.

Greenbelt are modern day Highwaymen and women. Charge for a poor service and when residents take some control make threats because this stops them from attempting to make extra charges.
We have have just received a letter to say they now intend to charge an extra 14.98 to everyone on the development as repairs needed to a wall outside the usual routine maintenance area. This is the result of a car accident and the perpetrator can’t be found and so they wish to claim of every household. Well they can claim of their insurance.

Alarm bells: Over 99% of diabolical service complaints, poor customer service, high charges for poor maintenance issues. These are consistent throughout trust pilot and other review sites. Obviously there is a serious problem with this company.


Edit: We have had problems with the grass verges being walked on at the front of our properties cause the grass to become damaged and worn. This allows mud and dirt to overspill onto the footpaths that we are told belongs to the residents. Greenbelt refuse to clean the paths and the cleaning cost when they occur of flooring in the houses as a result. We put up small fences and Greenbelt sent out threat letters about adding extra cost if they remained or had to remove them. I must also inform that the path at the front of the house is not a public footpath and is just for access to the houses. All correspondence is available on the warning groups on Facebook.

Also the damage they are attempting to charge for is not from vandalism but obviously an hit and run accident. Therefore Greenbelt should be seeing this as an insurance claim not punishing residents with extortionate fees.

I have offered filmed interviews with the company spokesperson and managers. All have been turned down and ask yourselves WHY?
