"GreenBelt tried to block my earlier…"

GreenBelt tried to block my earlier post which was really rather innocuous. I only made the point that if possible I would have liked to give them zero stars as I am appalled and the quality of their work and exorbitant charges. I have complained to them about this previously and received no response. So, rather than trying to censor client feedback, they should listen to it and act upon it.

Giving a bill when we was in lockdown! Seriously! Come on! Not on..... no work
seen being done as we were not working ourselves and at home!
No one can pay at this moment in time due to covid so do a good deed and cancel all these payments!

I’ve literally never seen any work being done up there. No where near as nice as it used to be. Absolute rip off for the local residents.

Steer well clear. Had i of known then what i know now about getting involved with this company then i would never have brought my bellway home.
Constantly rising management charges in return for poor or substandard work

Don't know where my previous review has gone but it seems like Greenbelt are trying to erase their negative image. We were stung into buying a Fleecehold property which entailed Greenbelt being listed in the covenants to our property. The development has only been completed for 3 years now and the bill has gone up more than 15% year on year. Initially £115 in 2017 and now it was £150 in 2019. Greenbelt only subcontract the mowing a little piece of grass on land they own so we can't understand why they charge huge amounts for this.

"Utter charlatans"

I would’ve have rated them 0 stars if I could have. This company are utter charlatans. Forced into a maintenance contract I didn’t want when I bought my new build. Yearly increasing bill for around £750 and I’ve yet to see them on my estate in East Lothian (Scotland) in the 12 years I have lived here. Money for nothing. Approached them several time to ask what work they had done in the area and still waiting for an answer. Total rip off.

"Not much bang for your buck"

Greenbelt look after a development we live on in Leicestershire. They maintain half of it beautifully (well done Greenbelt) they have kindly opted out of doing the other 60% containing a lake.

Anyway, the development ‘only’ pays circa £15,000 per year. For this we are of course grateful to get some grass cutting, and a few repairs to bollards here and there.

They are happy to explain reasons why they can’t do, what they should do though. They have an array of standardised jargon to use for many of your queries. The upside of this is you won’t have to wait too long for email responses.
