Premier Marinas

"Always Satisfied"
I have been a berth holder at premier marinas in Eastbourne for many years and every time I go to the office I always get great customer service. The site is clean and great security compared to other marinas I’ve visited in the UK.

"Refuse homeless person diesel for…"
Refuse homeless person diesel for heating and owned by a Charity Welcome Trust.. Disgusting 🤢
The reply is inaccurate, untrue and misleading. If you actually read the ‘review’ you would see this is for HEATING and whilst you would like to think so, this is not ILLEGAL.

"Criminals Target Chichester Marina"
An update to my review of Chichester Marina:
Premier has steadfastly ignored the woeful security at the marina despite representations from the Berth Holders Association and others. There has to a series of thefts of valuable electronics from boat moored there. The senior management of Premier seem to care little for the boats in their care as they focus on raising revenue from initiatives unrelated to sailing.

"They see their customers as an annoyance"
having been a berthholder for many years I have seen the customer experience at Premier Marinas drop from OK to abysmal. The one 5 star review on this page appears to be from the manager of Chichester marina

"Very good company and ethos"
Very good company and ethos. It’s fashionable and commonplace to find fault with companies who have a significant presence in the marketplace. In all my dealings with Premier I‘ve find them courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. Very happy to be a berthholder with them.

"The almost complete indifference to the…"
The almost complete indifference to the needs of boat owners, despite the friendly smiles when face to face, the berthholder is a damn nuissance to the management. It is much more important for the managers to have ticked the boxes from their cosy desk rather than get out and meet with boat owners, seek their opinions and sort out problems. Their procedures are entirely aimed at satisfying the management guidelines rather than considering the boat owner, his needs and his wishes. How the managers can consider Brighton, with its silted up entrance, derelict and sinking pontoons, Swanwick with its strong through current rushing past its narrower turning areas, Noss on Dart with its downright dangerous current and rusting tanks for pontoons, and Falmouth - the mud berth capital of the west with a disused pipeline running across it, how the management can fool themselves and then try to fool others that they run the UK best marinas is way beyond me. Clearly they don't get out much and look at the fabulous marinas MDL have created and run along the coast or the friendly well run Dean & Reddyhoff harbours at Gosport, Cowes, Hamble and Portland/Weymouth.
They used to be very good, now Premier have lost the plot.

"Visited in April 2019"
Visited in April 2019, it’s like a poor caravan park for unemployed, low paid workers. Not a place I want to moor my boat.

"Dodgy place run by dodgy people"
Dodgy place run by dodgy people. They will take every opportunity to rip you off - I was overcharged more than £1000 in fictitious electricity charges, when I objected my berthing contract was terminated and they then started charging me visitor rates

"A predictably bad service year on year"
It is staggering just how bad of a service premier manage to deliver year on year. The latest - just wasted half a day travailing to Brighton marina just to find out that access to my boat not possible as they have disabled my access without prior notice and I have been sent from one end of the marina to other and eventually aborted trip now awaiting management call back to get sorted but advised that this may take up to 7 days...The security system can often be faulty letting anybody onto the pontoons and breaching sucurity but today security failure went the other way keeping boat owners out as well. Just another day at premier marinas.. With the predictablity of failures at the marina it is clear that their is no investment and that they are grossly under staffed. I hope that Andy can get back to me sooner rather than later to get this issue resolved and I hope that the David the duty manager has managed to pass on the correct information.
