"Ziplift from Imov$"

When I had the opportunity to buy a standing desk for work, I bought an ImovR Ziplift. I found a well done YouTube video review done by ImovR that helped sway my opinion. At home, I have a Veridesk (bought 2 years ago). I much prefer the Ziplift.

Ordering was easy. I had a few questions about my order and customer server went well above what was expected to answer my questions.

"Thermotread GT Treadmill"

The lander desk I received is fine. It works as described and I am very happy with it.

The Thermotread GT treadmill is made in Taiwan. I had problems with it out of the box. High pitched chirping noises and a long guttural whining sound from the motor. Needless to say, it is too distracting/irritating to use it with coworkers around and I am not even sure that I should be using it given that it might need repairs.

I contacted support through the website. I emailed a recording of what I was hearing and that person agreed the noises were not normal. He gave me an email for technical support that I forwarded all the info to as well. They responded telling me to call a tech support number dedicated to the treadmills.... solid run around so far...

I called that number and was connected to Jason V. who sounded confused as to why I was calling. He asked a couple times which treadmill I was calling about. I gave him all the info and serial number and he hung up on me. I called back and was connected to him again, sounding more irritated than the last time we spoke. I told him after several long awkward pauses that I could forward him the email with the recording of what i was hearing. He agreed to that and I sent the email. He responded immediately stating there was nothing attached... There was... i can see it in my email history. I resent the email with the audio file attached. No response... I use Gmail. If a 200 KB audio file isn't getting through to you, then the problem is on your end.

So in summary, the Thermotread GT treadmill has problems out of the box and I have contacted three people at IMovr who could provide no support.

Edit: Received a call back and had a repair appointment scheduled... right after I posted this review oddly enough. Will update my review later.
