"Tore my sons room to hell"
Tore my sons room to hell, (not damaged stuff now damaged, expensive stuff) left trim with nails pointed up all over my 12 year old sons floor under stuff they threw on top of. I had the pleasure of stepping on one of those nails. They left fans and dehumidifiers here to dry stuff out. We were not home today, but I guess they just let themselves into our house anyway to get their equipment. No call or heads up or anything. This is breaking and entering. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

"Not recommended."
We came by ServiceMaster after making an insurance claim as they were a "preferred contractor" of our insurance company, CAA. In my opinion, there is nothing preferential about them. In my opinion, they were nothing but a pain to deal with throughout the entire insurance claim process. In my opinion there are plenty of other good restoration companies in Ottawa. They were so bad to deal with that we will no longer have a relationship with any insurance company that contracts out to ServiceMaster Restore.

"Water heater and flooring installation "
Company said water heater and flooring would be installed Thursday. At 11am I had to call them to find out flooring person was not coming out, "sick". They had already removed my old water heater. After several calls and alot of screaming they installed my new water heater, then promised next day 8am flooring person would be out. They would disconnect water heater and plumber would stay on site to reconnect again. Poor customer service, promises not kept, lack of honest communication. I would never recommend this company because they do not do what they say they will. Poor communication between themselves was also evident. Stay away from Servicemaster.

"Expensive and innefective"
Unfortunately, my experience with ServiceMaster Restore in NH was disappointing. The results were ineffective, and their treatment of my kitchen cabinets was careless, resulting in damage. Despite their promises and assurances, the mitigation measures employed by the company proved to be ineffective in resolving the problem. The moisture and water accumulation persisted even after their intervention, leaving me frustrated and concerned about the long-term implications for my property. To make matters worse, their handling of my kitchen cabinets was careless. The technicians seemed to disregard the importance of delicate handling and caused damage to the cabinets during the installation of their equipment.
I am disappointed by the lack of professionalism and attention to detail demonstrated by ServiceMaster. I had expected a reputable and reliable service, but unfortunately, they failed to meet these expectations. I urge the company to consider the impact their actions have on their customers' satisfaction and the reputation of their business. In light of my experience, I regretfully cannot recommend ServiceMaster to others in need of water mitigation services. I hope that by sharing my feedback, improvements can be made to avoid similar issues in the future and ensure a more satisfactory experience for future customers

BEWARE: WOMEN, CHILDREN...
My house burned at 3:30 AM May, 2021.. miraculously my children, grandchildren, and I were able to escape. In complete emotional and physical exhaustion, I randomly called Service Masters of Wilmington the same morning..
They performed little to no professional help, I found one of the employees overdosed on my porch swing, and the other workers standing around SMOKING CIGARETTES! At that time I discontinued this service, leaving me with exorbitant expenses (75 K)"owed" them for >$25,000.00 of actual work. This doesn't include the fact that they totally splintered and removed my entire beautiful hardwood floors and Italian terracotta tiled kitchen floor. Mr. Bond's exorbitant and fraud-like charges were impossible to pay under the tragic financial and emotional distress placed on me by Service Masters. I have been unable to complete my home..thereby being sporadically homeless for1.5 years. These two components are what James Bond's business is based on. Especially for single mothers like myself.
They placed a lien on my house, which has prevented me to use this for any loan to pay them $75,000.00 for nothing. Also charging me interest and storage fees per 1.5 years and continuing..
They used the items of my dead Son, Mother and Father, all family photos, books, my artwork and paint supplies as leverage.
Attorney Wes Jones pursues for them this kind of law suit on innocent women and children , leaving them homeless and financially unable to proceed with life.There is no way to legally fight these type of monstrous "business?" people.
Call ServPro of NHC..they are honest and reputable.
PS.. I have never once been allowed to meet or speak with Mr. Bond, at my request to his "attorney".
UNBELIEVABLE..
I ended up having to pay James Bond upward of $100,000.00 including >1 year storage, with SM holding my things hostage, his attorney fees, and the incompletion of my house.. no funds to complete it.
I continue to live in my car, as motels and AirBB have also drained me financially, emotionally, and physically.
SHAME ON JAMES BOND and his attorney.

"It is filthy in my office"
It is filthy in my office. They insisted on a 30-day notice, but did not even bother to empty the garbage. No soap in the soap dispensers. Literal garbage and splatter all over! Horrible customer service.

Service Master is a joke they rip you off especially if you work for them they don't give you hours and they rip you off on your pay check I put my two weeks in work every day and Bernie in the Brownsville area is a very nice person but you don't mess with a person pay check, I repeat do not work for him.

"Fraud!!!!"
I wouldn’t even give them one star. What service master in Moose Jaw is doing is fraud. Beyond poor workmanship, they didn’t do half the work they were supposed to but claimed they did. I don’t even have baseboards or light fixtures. They even offered to pay me off for work that wasn’t complete.

"Incompleted work and false/misleading review site"
First off, their "official" review site is ConsumerAffairs.com which sounds official, but is not a government agency nor is it regulated by any. (Many states and even counties DO have a consumer protection bureau, usually called -- ready? -- Consumer Affairs. So even their public-facing "review" site is a sham. Ask yourself why there are no Google reviews. Now to specifics. There are several, but the bottom line is this one: They moved all the furniture out of the way to dry out a flood. Everything was crammed into one back room and a hallway. After 3-4 days of fans, they came to get the fans but then told me I was on my own to move all the furniture back. Besides being a d*ck move, it was contrary to what was promised up front. When I complained to the local HQ, I was told the teams were "too busy" to move the furniture back. Use ANYONE else.

If I could give them negative stars I would. After destroying my home, and making a complete mess (not to mention they took VERY expensive rugs to be cleaned) they left baseboards with nails. Cute holes EVERYWHERE. The didn’t move ANY furniture and had over 20 fans running at one time. I called and spoke w Mike who is extremely unprofessional, and thought it was hilarious when we said that they left our home in complete disarray. This incident happened in April, and my insurance has paid them yet they claim they have not been paid. He also tried to say that we flooded our own home with a water hose! Our insurance had a fraud adjuster contact us due to this LIE! He said “I didn’t say that to the insurance company.” But when we spoke w the fraud adjuster she told us he said he was there and saw this happen (he’s NEVER been to my home) thank god for cameras bc she closed the fraud case in less than 72hrs after seeing the footage and seeing there was only ONE employee at our home on the day he claims to have witnessed this. I called him bc as of today they still refuse to return my Persian rugs and when you call they give u the run around, and then laugh @ u, and hang up. I called back to let them know I was going to report them to the BBB and here, and her response was “that’s fine” and hung up on me. Do not hire this company completely unprofessional, rude, and will leave your home a complete mess. Our home still smelled of mildew and we had to have another company come out and they were shocked that they left our home in that condition, and didn’t move any furniture to dry the walls and baseboards. Now we have to have an air quality expert and another expert to come out and access our home. I’ve been dealing w this nightmare of a company since April 2022 and now it’s almost Aug with no resolutions (except being hung up on or laughed at) I have all the calls recorded and each call is a joke to them. THIS COMPANY IS GARBAGE!! BEWARE
