New toilet and cistern ordered 2pm Sunday 30.6.19. The best price that I could find anywhere. Goods delivered 8a.m . 2.7.19. in perfect condition by a very helpful driver. The delivery charge was £8, I could not have driven to their warehouse in my car and collected it for that. None of my local plumbers merchants could compete on price or delivery cost and timings. On my experience I would recommend this company and their sister company Ideal Bathrooms to anyone

Great service.
Reading the previous reviews on here I was unsure if I should order from this company, but I took a chance. Ordering a couple of things yesterday for delivery today, they arrived this morning shortly after a call from the courier to let me know he was on his way.
I can't fault the price, service or communication!

Website has issues which can result in you ordering the wrong item, Also some of the staff at this company tell lies to customers over the phone, Any suggestion of compromise to sort out an issue was rejected by this company instantly. I WISH I HAD SEEN THE OTHER BAD REVIEWS LEFT BY OTHERS WHO HAVE RECEIVED POOR SERVICE FROM THIS COWBOY OUTFIT.

"First Rate Service…"
I ordered a shower mixer valve over the Christmas break. I subsequently saw a number of poor reviews and this made me a bit nerveous that things might not run smoothly.
My experience however has been totally positive. On 2nd January 2019, I received the usual emails indicating that my order was being 'processed' and then 'despatched'. Later the same day I received a phone call from the courier to confirm that I'd be in on the 4th to receive my order.
My delivery was at lunchtime on the 4th in a sealed OEM box that contained exactly what had been ordered.
So my order was fulfilled in 2 ½ working days and was 100% correct.
Its fitted now and works exactly as expected.

Useless. Didnt bother replying to an email regarding an urgent problem with a cracked bath, until I chased them!
Also Didn't have a part in stock and didn't bother letting me know. Again had to chase the order.
Customer service is key.
Learn by your mistakes I guess.

"The item I ordered had parts missing"
The item I ordered had parts missing. These things happen but it was a nightmare trying to get Trade Taps to source and deliver either a replacement item or the missing parts. Eventually I asked for a refund which was agreed, but despite returning the item, it was more work by me to actually get the money refunded. The problem seems to be one of total inefficiency rather than a lack of honesty.
Seriously life is to short to waste this much of it on what should be a simple transaction!

"Cheap for a reason - shocking after sales service"
Purchased a set of Grohe taps as this was the cheapest site that sold them. They arrived but were faulty (the shower attachment didn’t work right). I returned them within 7 days for a refund as they were faulty as per consumer right act.
The taps sat in their warehouse for over 2 weeks whilst I chased a number of times for an update. They eventually came back and refused a refund stating there were some scratches on the taps. I informed them that they were returned as faulty but they stated this lay with the manufacturer and not them (incorrect). I spoke with the manufacturer who confirmed that Tradetaps were wrong.
I did write to them advising them of my rights and the fact I am entitled to a full refund but they have ignored my email completely. I’m currently trying to claim under S.75 of my credit card but if that fails it’s going to be a claim via the small claims court. Avoid this cowboy outfit at all costs. They’re cheap for a reason.

"Terrible"
2 weeks after they recieved my return im.still waiting for a refund. 3 emails and 2 phone calls and still nothing. Over £200 they owe me!

"Faulty Item"
I ordered a bath overflow filler which, when the plumber tried to install it, was faulty. Trade Taps said I had to take photos and email them which I refused to do. They didn't want me to return the item at this point but I insisted. They then advised me it would take four weeks to get a refund.
I checked their terms and conditions and a faulty product should be refunded within 14 days. I have returned the item by recorded delivery at my own expense and have requested a refund within the 14 day period.
I found their customer service extremely unhelpful and resistant to returns being allowed. I wouldn't purchase from the company in future.

"Excellent service and communication all the way"
Ian from tradetaps went above and beyond in sorting out an order that had QS Supplies trying to rip me off. The contact and communication was out of this world - trade here with absolute confidence. Regular updates on any issues were flawless. Very very good.
