This was a fairly quick process from initial consultation to having the surgery. The surgery was very quick too, i think i was in and out in under two hours with the actual surgery itself under one hour. Its very clear from the start they are all very experienced and a great team. My results have been pretty good and i still have more healing to go. I would definitely recommend Dr Nurein.

I had my gyno surgery in March 2023, I’m 47 years old and have wanted this surgery for 20 years but have been too afraid to go through with it. The surgery itself for me was not as bad as I imagined it would be, ok it’s not a great experience but it’s certainly doable! I would not trust anyone else with this surgery except Dr Nurein, he is very professional and skilled in this surgery. Unfortunately for me I was in the low percentage of people who have complications but even after an infection and seroma my results are life changing. Through the last few months during my complications Dr Nurein was very quick to reply to my messages and to offer advice, treatment and peace of mind, everything he told me about the healing process I went through turned out exactly as he said it would and I have complete trust in him. My case is still ongoing , I recently had scar tissue released from my right nipple and will be having a touch on the lipo later in the year due to some stubborn fat at the sides, this is all free of charge as Dr Nurein wants you to have the best possible results. I certainly have no regrets, even after a rough ride with recovery I can now where the clothes that I like and I do not get self conscious of my appearance anymore. I cannot recommend Dr Nurein enough. I suffered with pronounced gynaecomastia since I hit puberty. It ruined my confidence which held me back from so many opportunities.

After passing the big 3-0 I decided to bite the bullet and undergo the surgery with Dr. Nurein. I haven't looked back since. I had my first operation in September last year. The team were superb. I received professional and compassionate care throughout the process. Although the first operation made a huge difference, I still had some stubborn residual fat on my left side. Dr Nurein had me in for some additional minor surgery and later an injection to clear up some scar tissue. There was no extra cost and the results are hard to believe. It has transformed how I look and my self-confidence. I finally feel comfortable in my body.

"Fat transfer and lipo"

When I was a teenager I underwent a gland removal which was performed by the NHS. It left me with a bad crater deformity and I have avoided removing my shirt in public my entire adult life. Dr Nurein gave me revision surgery with lipo and a fat transfer. The results have far exceeded what I thought was possible; my chest looks totally normal. I have just returned from a beach holiday during which I spent my time shirtless at the seaside. I send heartfelt thanks to the entire team.

As a doctor, I wanted the best surgeon possible for my gynaecomastia operation. After consulting with other prominent plastic surgeons, I decided on Dr Nurein. As he is solely focused on gynaecomastia, he is the most experienced UK surgeon. Furthermore, I believe his professional background, which is more focused on cosmetic surgery as opposed to plastics, gave him a deeper understanding and appreciation of desirable male chest aesthetics.

The operation itself went very smoothly. I was impressed with the professional and efficient setup as well as the very supportive nursing team. Recovery was as expected in line with the provided post-operative guidance.

The results were truly life changing. My chest's appearance looks radically different both with and without clothing. In the 6 months since my operation I no longer think twice about taking my shirt off nor do I worry about how clothing fits. What can I say, Dr Nurein is a grade A+ surgeon in every aspect I can think of. The first thing I will say is that he is a very nice person and easy to talk to about any concerns you may have. He will tell you exactly what is achievable and what isn't.

In my case it was a revision due to the poor skills of the original surgeon that carried out some liposuction on my chest some years ago. That surgeon failed to remove/reduce the gland that I had on one side. He also did a bad job at removing the fat evenly, resulting in an uneven contour. My mistake was not choosing a 'specialist' gynocomastia surgeon in the first place. I naively went for the cheaper option in my home city. Dr Nurein managed to fix both these mistakes and I'm absolutely thrilled with the results. I no longer have any niggling daily thoughts in my head about my chest. I can't thank Dr Nurein enough for making that change in my life.

The other thing I realised right from the outset is that Dr Nurein clearly want's to achieve the best result possible and offers a free touch up within the first 6 months, if necessary. Other surgeons who are mostly in it for the money, like the first surgeon I used, would not offer this to their patients. This was a huge deciding factor for me. It shows that Dr Nurein truly cares about his patients and the results of the procedure.

After talking with Dr Nurein, I realised very quickly that he knew exactly what he was talking about. Given the sheer number of Gynocomastia operations he's carried out, there's no wonder he's become the best at what he does.

"Transformational surgery"

Mine was a grade 3 gynecomastia caused by a hormone imbalance resulting from treatment for prostrate cancer (100% testosterone suppression over 2 years). I had followed all the advice for non-surgical treatments including weight loss and exercising the chest muscles and none of it worked, if anything it made my man boobs look worse. I went to see Dr Nurein and he recommended liposuction, gland removal and skin excision using the circumareolar or 'donut' technique, where a ring of skin is removed from each breast around the areola and the two edges are then stitched together so that the scarring is limited to the edge of the areola. Dr Nurein has a video of him performing this same procedure on You Tube and watching it gave me the courage to go ahead with him. I can't really add anything to what so many people have already said about the procedure, it's painless, at most a bit of discomfort, even with skin excision my operation took just over an hour. Dr Nurein works quickly and skilfully with the confidence of a surgeon who knows exactly what he's doing because he's done it on countless other occasions, you always feel you're in safe hands. I'm now at 10 days post-surgery. The result is nothing short of transformational. I now have a flat chest but still with a nice definition and contour and I can finally see the chest muscles I worked so hard for. A really big thank you to Dr Nurein and his team for making what seems to be a daunting experience into something which is really quite doable.
