Easy Tours of India

"Easy Tours met or exceeded every goal we had established for our trip to India."
We were more than satisfied with the Easy Tour team both in the US and while we traveled around India. They were attentive to our needs and travel desires to the sites we wanted to visit. Although we never met the Easy Tour Manager in India, she called me every day to check on us and make sure everything was going as planned. We opted for the "opulent level" and we stayed at some of the most beautiful hotels in the world.
I would highly recommend Easy Tours to anyone, without hesitation.

"Easy Tours of India: The Perfect Way to Visit India"
Allow us to add to the rave reviews for Easy Tours that are so consistent in what you'll read in this section of the site. In trying to come up with a fresh way of describing the experience, here's what we decided: Think about the best cruise you could imagine, and then picture that experience on land (except for having to pack and unpack at each new city!). That's Easy Tours. The similarity with high-end cruising is that everything—and we mean everything—is handled for you. You can just sit back and enjoy the ride, without any stress of figuring out where to go, what to see, places to eat, etc. A few things in particular to point out: First, the guides. We were blessed with two five-star folks Ibid Ali (aka Ali), Tour Director, and Raj Singh, our intrepid driver. They brought India to life for us. No matter what the destination, Ali was a Google-sized expert on everything we saw, and could summon up dates and details enough to be a winner on Jeopardy! And Raj? He managed to drive 300 kilometre distances on unmarked roads perfectly (we joked that he had a GPS implanted in his head). Both men were eternally upbeat the entire time, no matter how crazy the traffic, or how many annoying questions we asked (including the ones we repeated two or three times). Like we're sure most Easy Tours guests feel, it'll be tough to go back to normal life, without such able companions and friends to accompany us. Second, the people and sights. To be honest, we had only a vague understanding and appreciation for India before the trip. Now, we see it for what it is: A country with hard-working, good souls, who cherish their culture, and who maintain a sense of contentment no matter what their living conditions or income. One of the great parts of an Easy Tours tour is that you get "up close and personal" with the people and that made the trip so much more than a bucket list of sights to check off. But speaking of destinations, we did a pretty standard visit of all the must-see places in Northern India (basically the Golden Triangle, plus a couple of other stops). While one sight in particular could only charitably be described as chaotic (Varanasi) we'd been warned beforehand, and just embraced it as part of India's culture. But the combination of visits was perfect: Big city life and small villages; palaces and the polar opposite; monkeys, camels, pigs, goats and yes, tons of cows to provide marvelous traffic jams and photo ops galore (good thing we brought a big memory card for our camera). And the pace was just right; we could linger when we wanted, and still had a bit of free time to decompress. Even the long drives between a couple of destinations were effortless (think cruising again), because we didn't have to sweat figuring out the routes, or how to dodge the cows. Third, the accommodations. If you asked 100 Americans to name the country with the best hotels in the world, it's highly unlikely that any of them would name India. They'd be wrong. As a group, the places we stayed were over the top, with a level of warm service and care that put any other country's hotels to shame. The typical query from hotel staff: "Is there anything else we could do to make your visit more enjoyable?" We've never been asked that question before. At each stop along the way, the hotel manager was there to personally greet us (and send us off!). And the attention to detail? Two touching examples: i) One room attendant noticed that we'd brought a laptop with us. He took the initiative to have his in-house tailor stitch a travel case for it, in fabric from the region; it'll be a lifetime memory of his thoughtfulness. ii) At another hotel, resting poolside, the pool attendant came by with, "Here's some mango sorbet with my compliments." And fourth, the planning and follow through. From our first contact with the company, through the itinerary planning and booking, and continuing with the in-country visit, the Easy Tour staff has its act together like nothing you've seen before. It starts at the top. The owner, Sunil, picked up the phone when I had a question about our trip; imagine any other CEO doing that. Our in-country rep, Chandni, was constantly checking in with us along the way, just to make sure everything was going flawlessly, which it was. And in most cities, we had a "back up" check in, when the local Easy Tours facilitator would meet us and ask how things were going. In sum, Easy Tours should be everyone's go-to place to book and experience a trip of a lifetime to India. Happy to provide further detail if you're interested, but we're hopeful that this write up explains why we all rave about the company and its caring team of professionals.

"December 2015 in India - Delhi to Trivandrum"
Our visit was made much more enjoyable with your guides, and especially your driver, D. P. Singh, who was a delight on the transfers between our cities. The guides were quite down to earth types who were ready to answer all of our questions. There was so much to take in on this visit, that a sorting out of things was good. When we wanted to go off the beaten path a bit, your guides were ready for it, and after all, India is best seen at the street level walking around. The Bollywood movie was great!

"Fabulous planning and trip experience!"
"I've used the branch of this company - Easy Tours of India - and loved them. My husband and I did a private trip through Rajasthan and the South. I have always booked our own trips but am getting tired from too much information! Easy Tours let me have input on my hotels and locations. We were able to mix some adventure and some luxury. The guides, the drivers and the safety net we felt was totally worth the money! We have been to Asia quite a few times on our own. We plan to return this year to places we haven't been and I will use Easy Tours to help me plan it and carry it out. I only wish they organized trips everywhere!"

"Wonderful Tour"
Wonderful tour of a land I had so little understanding of before I visited. I will remember the color, the art, the sounds of the street and the diversity of many people.

"perfect arrangments"
We enjoyed every moment of our trip to Northern India! The hotels, predominantly Oberoi, were amazing. Every facilitator was on time, friendly and informative. Drivers were professional and navigated beautifully and safely through the frenetic streets of India. Sunil helped us plan the perfect most opulent adventure! The local guides varied from good to exceptional. The tour director who accompanied us from Agra to Udaipur was considerate and flexible. We received phone calls in various cities from an Easy Tours representative to check up on us, which was greatly appreciated. Loved every city on our tour but we would have preferred an extra day in Udaipur to enjoy the magnificent Oberoi Udaivillas. I highly recommend Easy Tours for a deluxe but well priced vacation.

"Absolute first class in every respect"
My wife and I have traveled extensively for many years. We have used the services of Easy Tours to arrange private tours in India (twice), and once in Vietnam. The attention to detail, class of accommodation, communication and personal service is in my opinion without peer.
Every driver and guide was either very good or exceptional, and were willing at any time to go off the itinerary route to show us something that caught our attention.
We have recommended them to all of our friends who intend travelling to the East, and should we decide to visit India (which we love) again, there is no one else we would consider!

"Best Trip Ever! with Easy Tours of India"
"We have been home from our trip now several weeks, and we think of India every day! Thank you for all your planning and organizing. We enjoyed the lovely hotels. We especially enjoyed our guide for the first leg of the trip, Abhimanyu Singh Bhati. He was extremely knowledgeable as well as a lot of fun to spend 12 days with! We talked about different religions, arranged marriages, and Indian politics. We learned he is a freelancer, and just so you know, we couldn't recommend him more highly! He was great! We also enjoyed our driver Keiso (sp?) and felt very safe with him. Lastly, our guide and driver in Cochin were also very good, but we only had a short amount of time with them, and we cannot compare. We especially appreciated that you arranged a guide and driver for us on our last night in Mumbai, from the national airport to the international one. That was a blessing! Thank you so much for a wonderful trip."
