THIS GUY IS A FRAUDULENT GAS FITTER
HE FITTED A BOILER IN OUR HOME ABSOLUTE ATROCIOUS WORKMANSHIP> AVOID THIS COWBOY AT ALL COSTS
WE CALLED IN GAS SAFER OFFICER TO COME OUT AND LOOK AT HIS GAS WORK . GAS SAFE CONTACTED HIM BUT GARY CROSSLAND DIDNT WANT TO COME AND RECTIFY HIS UNSAFE GAS WORK
WE HAD TO START THE JOB AGAIN AND PAY OVER AND ABOVE FOR WORK TO BE UNDONE THEN RESTARTED FROM SCRATCH

"Kitchen Specialist - BIG MISTAKE"

BIG MISTAKE. House rewired by another company and required plastering and a new kitchen fitted. Gary contacted, great sales pitch about how him and his team should be able to complete the job in a week. There was no team, just Gary. He spent the last 3 weeks in my property with minimal progress. He advised his friend would be helping him out on weekend 2. More progress was made in 2 days then Gary did in 3 weeks. Majority of the work was carried out by his mate. As soon as his mate left work slowed down again. I ended up building some of the cabinets as Gary advised he would “do it next week”, we needed all the base cabinets built as we could no longer live with everything in bags and boxes. When minimal progress was made in the following week we raised a number concerns, he became defensive, clearly took on other jobs whilst he was suppose to be doing this one ( new reviews added to his rated people site when he was suppose to be doing the job). After
Reiterating our concerns 5 days letter when the issues still hasn’t been rectified he attempted to get us out of the property to pick up materials he was suppose to get on the premise that his mate was coming to finish the tiling (he never arrived) we advised we would wait to speak to his mate to ensure the correct items were puchased. Gary proceeded to pack up his stuff and left without rectifying or finishing the job (not sure what he was planning to if we had left the property). The electrics were left unsafe with kids in the house and the work needs redoing. Clearly took on the job with no experience. If we wanted an apprentice we would have hired one. Showing up late afternoon (I would often return home at lunch 1/2pm to find he had not been there at all) putting in a few hours work and then leaving, 4 days to tile a splashback which needs to be completly re-done. wall cabinets that he built and hung, pulling away from the wall, a hole left in the outside wall, to name just a few of the issues. Disgusting way to treat customer with children in the house with no regard to their safety. Should have hired his mate. Gary may be a competent boiler/gas engineer however he is not an experienced kitchen fitter, or tiler. He never once apologised for the delays and attempted to lie in stating he never gave us a timescale as to when the work would be completed. We have a small kitchen and there is no reasonable excuse
for the length of time it took for him to do what little work he did. Be very cautious.

"Fantastic installer!"

Gary came out and installed us and amazing new ATAG boiler after a previous owner had installed a boiler far too small for the house. We finally have hot water after 2 years without and it’s bliss! Gary is kind, considerate and knows his trade inside out. I trawled through a lot of reviews to find someone good and I’m so glad I did! We’ve already booked him in for another job and look forward to having him back soon.

It was freezing cold, boiler failed to operate and Gary was the only Gas Engineer to call back. He came out promptly and fixed the issue .He left at 11 Pm and said he would recall with the new parts as the repair needed new parts The next day he returned and replaced the parts at the price given. I asked for a quote for a new boiler as ours was over 15 years old.
He advised us of the best brands and quoted us a price. He even asked us to get comparative quotes. Not only was he competitive, but his price was for the better boiler. I was impressed with his work, time keeping and how he cleaned up after the install.
I don't normally fill in reviews but Gary was spot on, including his helpfully Northern humour. Keep plenty of milk in, as he likes milky tea ;-)

Gary was super efficient and hard working. The job he’s done installing radiators upstairs in my house is brill as well as a few other jobs. Friendly guy who worked around me and my family to get things done.
Will definitely be recommending
