A transaction I completed on Jan 20th went through twice. The first time the money was paid, it reverted to the confirm payment page hence, I understood it hadn't gone through and did it again and this time it confirmed the payment. Was surprised to see it had debited my card twice. No cancellation feature on the app.

Attempted calling the customer support number and tried to contact your chat and was left on hold for close to 40mins. Tried the chat but what does it keeps updating that someone will be with me 40-60mins down to 6mins-no agent ever responds and then it re-starts the whole chat again with the wait history all erased!? I don't think customer service actually exists. Not been able to get hold of any human either via phone or chat, I resorted to social media to get their attention-they deleted my comment!
Finally instead of someone calling they emailed my with a "no-reply" email address to tell me that the process to revert the transaction isn't guaranteed or will take up to 30 DAYS! even though I had instructed the recipient to collect only one of the duplicate transactions!

It's not worth the frustrating experience and complete absence of customer service. Will be deleting the account after I get my money back. Just realised they might be owned by World Remit as their MO is similar! Frankly surprised by the positive reviews!

Recently, Wave has been unhelpful and has withheld money sent to recipients. I’ve called over 10 times regarding the same issue, and even after 30 days, no one has resolved it. This lack of support is extremely disappointing.” They will tell you your problem will be solved in 24-48 hours but it takes forever to fix. It used to be the best but declining now.
