I’ve had trouble with it since I got it. First, I do have it set up to my WiFi. But, it will not continuously record. I check it each day and it did not record since the previous day. It records in spurts. I have to reboot it all the time. Right now, it shows an error code of -99991 5127. Have no clue what that is. Didn’t record nothing all day. Really disappointed in this for the money I spent. I’m going out of town this coming Friday, the 5th. My niece lives with me and I have no reason to trust her at my house while I’m gone. I thought I found the solution with this so I can keep an eye on her. Really disappointed...

I have a 5.0 internet. It does not have a 2.4.I wish this was stated on your requirements needed. I wish you could design one for the 5.0
Any way to do this or can I return it?
I gave it 3 stars because I feel that this is a very good product. Please advise. I have not tried to install the camera.

"Not Easy to use (or I am too complex)"
I created an account and saved the Username and pwd using Samsung pw mgr.
I began to set it up. The first stumbling block was the inability to select the 2.4G port. I was offered the 5GHZ port and could not select the correct one. I finally went into the router and disabled the 5G radio. (Not for beginners) I then was able to finish the set up. I learned to use it and shut of the scan(it is too slow to use.) I was not watching the power drain on the phone. I set the phone down. When I picked it up again it was discharged. I charged it. I then tried to contact the cam. When I tried to log on the cam, samsung gave the User/pwd. The account access failed- wrong user/pwd. It was correct. I then tried setting up a new one, but it said I needed a #byte Chinese or English characters, but their is no option to select the number of bytes per character. I then selected the guest option. I never got it to connect, even though it did provide the funky square, the cam ignored it.
Someone did return my call and we started on the login. He was having problems and asked if he could call back. I am still waiting. Len Lundgren.

Danny called and although I could not create a new account, he did and then we started mating the phone to the cam. we had problems getting it to connect. He solved it by having me turn of the phones wifi, disconnecting it from the 2.4g connection, and, I think, hooking directl to the cam. There was a problem with the wifi pwd, My problem, I finally spelled it correctly(My new wifi router requires a nasty Pwd instead of the normal phrase) Once passed that obstacle it connected, I pressed the funky square button, it gave one and the cam recognized it and worked. Danny then set the alarm to send the phone a text and it works. Cam movements are a bit tricky, but useable. It has a ton of options, but I could not figure out how to delete captures(picts or video) The resolution is great. The cam adjusts well to light changes. It did disconnect during the night and I had to reset and reconnect it, but it was easy to do. When I disconnected it from power and moved it out of the shop to its new home and powered it up, it reconnected and is still working. For the price, it is pretty good(I have only tried the 360) I changed the rating to 4.
I have been able to reconnect to it every time it fails. A couple 3 times a day,
Then my wifi quit and I had to go back to the old one, which now has a large signal.
This necessitated a return to the 2.4G router instead of the 2.4. As you know, this is not supported.
It sits, and sits. So lonely.

This really is an absolutely easy camera to set up. I had D-Link before and what a pain that is to set up. I was up and ready within few minutes. Also, the picture quality is outstanding. Highly recommend.

I purchased two cameras (One I never opened). I spent days on their YouTube channel and talked with tech support. I could never get the cameras up and running. It would say "connected", but that's it. Couldn't see anything on my phone app. Long story short, I returned the cameras and now they say they won't refund my money, as I filed a dispute with my credit card company and was not so friendly to who I spoke with on the phone, (They credit card company has since recharged my account), so now a much longer process. Please read all the reviews BEFORE you buy. I currently have had to file a complaint with the BBB and the postal service.
