"I’ve had nothing but issues with them"

I’ve had nothing but issues with them. They give you ridiculous chat help and crappy answers and resolve to the problems. I can’t be the only one!

Although I have had conversations with AppScenic in regards to my issues, they are requesting a rebuttal, so here it goes. I apologize to any readers for the length.
I am reviewing under my personal account and not my business for a reason. I wish it to remain that way. I sell big ticket items, just to be clear.

I will change my review to 3 stars due to the fact that these issues are supposedly supplier issues...the answer I always get from AppScenic anyway.

So here we go:
Approx one month ago one of their suppliers, and my biggest (80-100 items) decided to implement an "out of stock" while they performed an internal inventory. So, 80-100 of my store items appeared out of stock to my customers. My problem is that there was no advance warning allowing me or any other customer to make adjustments so our stores didn't appear to be half empty. I caught it the day of and moved everything into a 'draft" status in Shopify. Upon their completion (2 days later) I moved items to "active".

AppScenic claimed they had no advance warning of this. Ok...but now they know, still no warning to customers, at least I didn't get anything.

So fine, past that.

Next issue. When I moved inventory back to "active", all the items went back to original supplier description. Not sure about anyone else, but I spend hours and hours editing descriptions. Seems it was all for moot as all my hard work is gone and needs to be redone.

They said there is an action you can uncheck in Sync that allows you to pick and choose what you want changed when suppliers update anything. So my bad, I didn't know that but I do not trust that it's that simple...my titles didn't change as I was told they would as well along with the desc.

These are a couple of pretty big issues in my opinion that I feel AppScenic should take special care to inform their customers about. It has created a huge nightmare for me...but they're sorry so I guess I just eat it.

Also, many of their suppliers (as I'm told by AppScenic "it's just how they upload inventory) do not have variants. Meaning you have to post the same item several times just to offer a different color, size, or whatever.

My opinion is if AppScenic wants to let these suppliers call all the shots, they'll never get ahead in this game.

AppScenic needs to be way more forthcoming with issues and send that info on to their customers immediately so we're not blindsided. Communication, communication, communication.

There you have it. I really don't need a lengthy response from AppScenic on TrustPilot but feel free if you truly feel the need.
At minimum I hope I gave any existing or new customers a heads up on a couple issue they should be aware of.
