Mariagrazia gives incredibly structured lessons but with room for self-exploration. With a focus on repetition and conversation, she has made learning Italian immensely enjoyable and exciting. In each class, I practice repetition of basic phrases and become faster at saying them and expressing myself seamlessly. After that, we dive deeper into dialogue, phrases, and grammar to add to future conversations. I love these classes and recommend them to all looking to improve their Italian or to start from ground zero.

Mariagrazia is an extremely effective teacher because she customizes each lesson to my skillset and learning preferences. The combination of reading, writing, conjugation, and conversation is helping me learn the language and actually remember concepts and rules. I love the mini matching exercises to recall how to conjugate and form sentences, but my favorite part is how much dialogue we have each lesson. She is fun and engaging. Before my lessons with Mariagrazia, I was afraid to speak Italian, but now, I am excited to and look forward to meeting with her. Couldn't recommend her lessons more!

I have been learning Italian with Mariagrazia for two years now and I really enjoy my lessons with her. I have studied with many other language teachers and I can confidently say that Mariagrazia is one of the best teachers I have had. She is very patient and flexible. I really appreciate that she is happy to adapt lessons to the student. For example, when I took on a more senior role at work she was happy to slow down the pace of my learning to suit my availability/headspace! She is also very good at explaining things. I appreciate that she speaks other languages, and so can make comparisons (for me, with French) to help me to understand grammar that we don’t have in English. She really is a good teacher and I can’t recommend her highly enough to anyone thinking of studying Italian.

I am so pleased with my experience with Fun Italian Journey. They worked with me to understand my goals and designed a custom curriculum, very flexible with scheduling (across time zones too) and always pleasant. They know just when to help and when to challenge me, but the method is effective and fun! I love that it is conversation-based and a good mix of grammar and practice. They are very responsive on the homework and help with questions. I'm accomplishing my goals and highly recommend Fun Italian Journey!

If you want to learn Italian without tears, but with fun, cosy chatting and always supporting teacher, Mariagrazia is your choice no doubt!
I’ve been learning Italian with Mariagrazia for three years already and she made me feel comfortable and secure while learning a foreign language from scratch. I’ve never felt embarrassed or scared of making mistakes during our lessons (as it happened a lot while learning English, for example, with other teachers, and at first I was afraid of the same situation to repeat), but our lessons are always fun and light, full of peculiarities of the Italian language and culture, and full of humor. The way Mariagrazia explains every teeny-tiny doubt I have on the Italian language is exceptional! No one ever did it better. You can be sure you will never leave the lesson with chaos in you head, but everything will be structured and Mariagrazia will make sure all your questions are answered. Everyday I’m looking forward to the lessons with Mariagrazia and miss them even on vacation, as she is the best teacher I’ve ever met.

Soy un Argentino que estudia italiano con Mariagrazia y si bien ya he estudiado el idioma en mi país, realmente con ella he podido mejorar mi nivel de italiano como no pense jamas, ya que la manera de enseñar y adaptar las clases para cada alumno hace que notes el progreso en cada clase.. yo la recomiendo, aprender italiano con Mariagrazia vale la pena.
