"I use Baird Mint regularly and they are…..."
I use Baird Mint regularly and they are the best bullion dealer around. Great prices, good supply availability and swift delivery.
Just read the T&c's before you buy so you clearly understand how it works. There are some morons out there who don't read them then leave negative reviews because what they assumed in their heads wasn't the actual reality of the real world, for example you pay a small deposit first then the balance by bank transfer but it seems there are morons out there that find that shocking and unreasonable. Get over yourselves precious.
BairdMint are a Trusted dealer for me.
I wouldn't use anyone else.
I Highly Recommend.

"I recently gave an unfair grading..."
I recently gave an unfair grading and review about Baird mint
after a series of miscommunication emails.
I am happy to state the issue was resolved in full and the issue fully resolved , so I am writing this to counter my previous statement

"The experience I had in purchasing some…..."
The experience I had in purchasing some metals this was pleasant. I ordered the metals online, the deposit was taken and I transferred the remainder of the fund via Bank transfer. The metals were delivered to me within 2 days. No ID was asked for as the purchases were under the limit.
As with most everyone else that reads reviews, at first I thought I would call them up to place an order, the gentleman that I spoke with, did not give me his name, but at first was very short with me, but changed his attitude when I told him that Baird had not received the best reviews online. He assured me that the experience would be more pleasant if I purchased online as i would receive email confirmations etc and that I could check out as a guest.
So overall my experience of Baird so far is pleasant.

"You MUST read their T&Cs before purchase, it is your folly not to!..."
Baird & Co was my choice of metal merchants from the best 8 as listed in the Daily Telegraph some time ago. It offered the best prices and choices of products. Once you have read their terms of sale and you have to agree to them before you proceed it clearly states that you lock in your purchase price by placing a deposit before paying the balance by bank transfer. Very clear. You are informed that you have 2 days to complete your purchase.
By obligating customers to use a registered bank account they can trace indivivduals in the case fraud/money laundering.
So I have placed multiple orders with them adn have been happy with the service and struggle to undersatnd all the bad reviews posted. The only reason seems to be that they didn't read the T&C's before entering into a contract for Baird to supply them. Who's fault is that?
If you are sensible and read the conditions of sale for any purchase then it offers good service. If you never read the small print before you sign/digitally sign forms, go somewhere else.

"" Stay Away from Baird & Co "..."
" Stay Away from Baird & Co "
I bought a coin from Baird & Co (also know as bairdmint.com ) and paid for the full amount, then shortly after a e-mail arrived saying that £143.43 was a deposit and the remainder of £1290.92 was to be paid by a money transfer. I was stunned as I assumed the whole amount was to be paid by debit card, I contacted the bank as Baird was closed when I bought the coin and explained I had to pay by transfer pament and I already some time ago had been conned. I spoke to three of the bank tellers who each was worried and passed me on to another, each explained that if I went ahead and it was fraud I would not get my money back, so I canceled the transfer, and asked if I could get my £143.43 returned but was told that it was pending and they could not do any thing, and told me to remember to cancel the order to Baird & Co. I then sent a e-mail to Baird who was closed and then another the next day to make sure. I checked on the web and found the reviews from Trust Pilot and found 15 bad reviews for Baird & Co, my mind was made up. I received a e-mail from Baird & Co who told me that my money was not refundable and that I would not receive any money back. I contacted my bank who told me to contact the debit card who would investigate. Any one and I mean any one, do not go near this company they have no duty to customers all they want is your money. So I say to all of you " Stay Away " unless you want to lose money.

"I Just ordered some metal..."
I Just ordered some metal. Paid the £50 non-refundable deposit, then immediately paid the outstanding sum. I will post again with an update.
My order finally arrived 16/05/2020 after a few weeks delay as their website had explained. Baird Mint are efficient, but very short on the phone, so if you need to ask any questions or chase your order, expect to a poor phone manner generally. 3 out of the 4 people I spoke to were not rude, but were very short! Otherwise, overall an ok company.
