Excellent service and extremely good value. Does everything I've needed for electronic music 'dance store' releasing and at a fraction of the cost/fee of some of the other big names. Proves it's worth researching the choice of distributor carefully. And communication has been excellent; the information has been a little basic but all emails have been answered rapidly/immediately. They've also been extremely courteous in making several edits to my first release to fix some errors I made due to having been new to the process. I can certainly recommend extremely highly.

"Very unfriendly"
I booked a 5 artists subscription with Horus Music for one year. There was an error with one artist, not with all of them! But they completely deleted my account with 5 artists! You contacted me on the wrong email first (I chose a different address as the contact email) and in such a case you'd best call me. The problem could certainly be clarified and I'm always ready for that, but they're just surprisingly unfriendly.
Conclusion: I paid for a subscription for 365 days and I only got the service for 20 days! And that's why I still have problems with my customers.

"Experiencing bad communication: My response"
I have been paying Horus for about a year and now finally we are about to release the album. I am worried now since there have been no responses to my support requests. I believe the good reviews but I think there may be some technical problems that Horus might not be aware of, Since my account has been dormant for a year but paid up, perhaps my account has been put in a pile that gets ignored? Or the system lowers it’s priority . I am not sure but I am about to submit (and I want to use HORUS because I think they would be a good fit). But with no support response I feel like I am submitting into a black hole.
I posted that after not receiving any replies to my support emails to air@h......(, sorry I am just about to teach a class). I have respect for Horus and would like to use your platform in the future however, as a business I can’t trust the launch of my music when I don’t know if you will keep drop my particular “ball”. I just think you our very successful and therefore perhaps a bit overwhelmed? I have seem some of your responses to other trustpilot post and to be honest, they are a bit scary. I understand protecting your brand. So I have decided to launch my product with another distributor. I wish I could have gone with you but the signs on the ground didn’t give me much continence I Wish you well.
Also I read your response to my review which notes the real time difference between the UK and California, All true. FYI I still have net received a reply to support requests. With regards to the tone of your response: there is no empathy or helpfulness to a person who is paying you. I am just saying maybe get a different person to reply. Someone with a little heart.

I have been talking to Emily in Horus Music before I release a song with them, and she is nothing but extremelly attentive and knowledgable. I'm really happy to find a distributor like Horus Music that is clearly commited to evolving and expanding their services but not forgetting how important customer service is. Their list of stores keep growing and their restlessness when it comes to evolving and bringing in more services and options to their customers is inspirational and motivating!

Unprofessional
There is some things that can be appreciated. But overall the main keyword is: Unprofessional.
For example:
The good: support team is quick to respond;
The Bad: it is in most part useless.
They would return your submission for a number of stupid reasons, as using quotes, dashes or parentheses; or for a spelling variations that they do not like. If you are releasing something with non-english or non-latin titles - just forget about it!
The absolute worst: they would refuse service just if they decide so, and there is nothing you can do or fight about it.
The release creation system, although quite extensive (which some might appreciate) is poorly designed, which require you to spend a lot of extra time entering the same information over and over.
So, go on and try it at your own risk - you can just lose a lot of time and nerves. Possibly, some money.
But, better avoid.

She responds quickly and thoroughly, and this customer service is what's kept me coming back to work with them. Their platform is easy to use/understand, and my songs show up on Spotify and other sites for pre-saves a day or two after submitting them. Thank you, Emily and Horus Music!

I have had the most proactive, cooperative, understanding and friendly experience with Horus music. Chandrika has been my POC from day one, and she has been an absolute darling. I have had absolutely no problems with any of my releases to date. She has always been available for all my queries and has managed to bring out a positive outcome. Her outstanding customer service has compelled me and got me addicted to being a loyal customer of Horus Music. Also last but not least Horus has always been a reliable brand name for Artists and ZEMA Music is glad to be a part of it too.
