"Sadly disappointed"

I was so excited to find this product for my son to replace his troublesome laces. However within 2 weeks 2 of the metal tips have fallen off and I have had to tie them in knotted ends to keep the lace in.
Very disappointed and hoping this doesn’t happen with the other pair I ordered
