"Phone Call and Change of Order"

When I made a preliminary phone call to check some details I got quick, sound advice before deciding to place my order online.
I subsequently got an email explaining that the particular item (a circular saw blade, 24 teeth, 16mm bore) I ordered was not in stock but an alternative, with a 20mm bore and an adaptor ring, was being despatched. However, I wanted the 16mm bore and emailed them back. Despite it being after their closing time I got a reply from Sam at home offering to change the order first thing the next morning. He changed my order for one with 16 teeth by 16mm bore size, which was in stock. Just 24 hours later it was delivered to me in South East Essex. Excellent service and quick delivery. Instead of taking a refund for the difference in price I have been offered a discount on my next order, when the 24 teeth x 16mm bore is in stock in a few weeks.
I have now made use of the new saw blade (17th May) and found it to be every bit as good as I hoped. Sharp, sturdy and a secure fit to my saw. I have only used it on softwood at present but it cut smoothly and accurately with no problems. Time will tell on it's durability but so far it all looks good.
