We recently returned from our second great trip with Bespoke India, again with the pleasant, helpful, professional guidance of Anil Chauhan. This time the adventure for our family of six, 4 adults and two teenage boys, was to Northeast India. Anil has always been ready to hear about the various needs and desires of our family members and to adjust our itinerary so that all are pleased.The excellent, varied lodging was a big success.
Our local guide, Rajan Chapuri, was excellent. He was unfailingly both pleasant and knowledgable, and always took the extra step to make our trip safe, successful and very much fun.

We had the most brilliant private tour to the golden triangle and can highly recommend Bespoke India Travel. From start to finish it was the most incredible journey which was planned with Himanshu and Sanjay..at the planning stage we had video chats and they listened to what we wanted and planned every detail perfectly from being met in Delhi airport at 2am on arrival by a guide and driver to booking the most incredible homestays for us. We had a competent driver for the whole trip who kept us safe on the crazy roads and he was so lovely. We had professional guides to show us the sites and the whole 10 day tour went smoothly without any problems. Can highly recommend a private tour with these guys and look forward to booking our next one!

A beyond amazing holiday. Sanjay understood immediately what we were after and crafted a perfect itinerary in hotels we loved. Can’t wait to try another trip with him somewhere else in this incredible country.

Perfect! As independent travellers, this was the first time we have ever used a company to plan and arrange a holiday for us. I met Sanjay at the Travel Destination Show in Manchester and was impressed with his knowledge and passion about India. We spent a wonderful 4 weeks in India. We were met at each airport or train station by representatives of the company and taken to our accommodation. The drivers we had throughout our stay were excellent. Sanjay personalised the activities we did and the places we visited to suit our requirements. There were many highlights - celebrating Diwali in Jaipur; staying on a tea plantation in the foothills of the Himalayas; spending a wonderful 2 nights on a restored rice boat in the Kerala backwaters; experiencing a tour of a community ‘slum’ in Mumbai; kayaking up a river during our homestay. Everything about our trip was superb. We would definitely recommend Sanjay and Bespoke India Travel.

This is the third time I have had the pleasure of having Sanjay and Bespoke India plan a family trip to India and once again, it was a 10 out of 10 experience. We went to Kerala this time and it was an incredible experience. Everything, from the hotels to the local guides to the drivers, were excellent. I can't recommend Bespoke India enough and I can't wait to plan our next trip with them!

Our experience was great.
Sanjay is an extremely friendly and chatty person with bags of enthusiasm. Communication was easy by email or phone. We had lots of questions.
Our holiday to Bhutan, Kolkata and Darjeeling was arranged well with enough multinight stops to allow r and r from walking and existing at high altitude. He followed our requests and built a holiday around four must dos - Crane festival in Bhutan, Tiger's Nest monastery in Taktsang, and Bhukara restaurant in Delhi. His suggestions made sense and added much enjoyment. Our stay in Darjeeling at a tea plantation was delightful and we felt pampered - an excellent idea of Sanjays. As was Kolkata, an eye opener and fascinating.
Visas were well organised and with no issues. We did our own for India. Bhutan was arranged by him as is required. We arranged our own flights by choice, Sanjay was very willing to do that but was fine with us arranging them. The hotels he suggested were all fine, varied and perfect. There was an issue with the hotel in Kolkata but that was because the original hotel unexpectedly closed for refit, and Sanjay found an equally quality hotel as a substitute. Sanjay answered any questions we had with satisfactory answers.
One suggestion is that travellers to India should be advised to get Rupees in small denominations on arrival, or have the guide arrive with a pre- arranged amount along with the paperwork. We were unable to get sufficient small denominations for tips.
The guides Sanjay arranged were on the whole great and knew their stuff. There was a lot of road travel but the people carriers were perfect, comfortable, clean and allowed all four of us a window view.
Sanjay gets excited for you and you look forward to your holiday with glee.

Pre-trip planning was fun, informative
and provided a host of expectations that were entirely matched by what we experienced on the ground from arrival in Delhi, transfers to 4 locations, fantastic hotels, guides and return delivery to Mumbai airport. Nothing more to say - just a great experience all round.

"Wonderful holiday in North West India"

Sanjay Oberoi of Bespoke India Travel organised a perfect holiday for us from booking Premium Economy flights with Virgin from Heathrow to our return 4 weeks later. We travelled to 11 destinations Starting at Amritsar then to Palampur (Wah Tea Plantation) wonderful, to Shimla in the Himalayan foothills, to Delhi, to Agra (Taj Mahal), to Bharatpur (great bird safari), to Ranthambor (3 safari’s and we saw a Tiger and many other animals), to Jaipur probably my favourite Hotel (The Samode Haveli) and destination, to Shahrura Bagh Half way stop over, to Udaipur and finishing in Mumbai with a super tour of the Dharavi Slums.
Excellent tours of historic sights and attractions and days when we could suit ourselves where we went.
We had 3 different drivers over the 4 weeks, numerous guides who were all at the places to meet us, 4 Train journeys and reps were always waiting for us to arrive at exactly the right spot on the platforms. 4 flights and over 1500 km by road. At one point I received a WhatsApp message from Ritika, our agent in India to say that I had dropped my wallet in the car at Delhi Train Station where we were travelling to Agra, the wallet was couriered to me complete that evening at our hotel in Agra (fantastic service).
I don’t normally do reviews because I don’t read reviews left by others, if I wanted to find something to whinge about I am sure that I Could find something trivial but I can’t think what it would be.
We met Sanjay at the Destination show at the Olympia in London in January 2024 and from that point we were sold on India we hope to meet him again in January 2025.

Their attention to every minor detail of the trip made this an unforgettable holiday for us.
