"Naar hotel gebracht"

Vanmorgen, dag van terug brengen van de auto, kreeg ik een bericht van KLM dat de vlucht geannuleerd was. Vlucht een dag later door mist ofzo. Dan bel je eerst degene in wiens appartement je zit....geen probleem. Dan degene die je op zou halen, geen probleem. Als laatste de autoverhuurder, wel een probleem, alle auto's van alle bedrijven in die straat bij de luchthaven, 100% bezet. Dat was dus jammer maar helaas. Maar na terug brengen werd ik wel netjes bij het hotel afgezet dat ik voor die ene nacht geboekt had. Dat verdiend een bonuspunt in mijn boekje. Je bent wel zo ongeveer verplicht de verzekering bij je auto te nemen, anders wordt er minimaal €1000 op je creditcard geblokkeerd. Maar dat is bij al die bedrijven zo, ik vermoed wel eens dat dit hun verdienmodel is.

Our experience with Moovers was great. The pickup and dropoff process was quick and easy, the car was in perfect condition, and the staff was very friendly and professional. I will definitely choose them again for my next trip. Highly recommended!

"Avoid like the plague"

I had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience with Moovers Car Rental that I feel compelled to share.
Firstly, they imposed a hidden fee for collecting the car after 11:00 PM, even though my flight was scheduled to land at 10:40 PM—a detail clearly stated during the reservation process. Shockingly, this fee was only communicated on the day of the booking, despite the reservation being made over two weeks in advance. The fees are buried in the terms and conditions and at no point are they presented clearly during the booking process.
The staff’s attitude was appalling, with Silvia, in particular, being outright rude and dismissive. Rather than addressing my concerns, they seemed determined to stonewall me.
When I escalated the matter, a supervisor called me to discuss the situation. After I explained my dealings with Silvia and expressed that I felt robbed by the hidden fees, the supervisor (whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch) took issue with my choice of words. He stated he didn’t like my expression and, astonishingly, also refused to accept my complaint.
The most egregious part, however, was Moovers' decision to cancel my booking without my consent, solely to prevent me from filing a formal complaint. Even after canceling the booking, they refused to allow me to submit a complaint. When I asked for my personal data to be deleted in accordance with GDPR regulations, they became completely non-responsive, demonstrating a clear violation of GDPR laws.
This company lacks professionalism, transparency, and accountability. I strongly advise avoiding Moovers at all costs. Their disregard for customers and the law is appalling, and no one should have to endure such treatment.

Absolute impeccable service from all members of the team from before I even arrived in the country. A WhatsApp message to let me know I should text them to let them know when I arrive to be picked up, an immaculate car for an unbelievable price including full insurance, no hassle at all when returning the car and even had time to chat with me during the shuttle ride. I go to Spain 4/5 times a year and will 100% continue using Moovers every trip from now on, especially after comparing to the other rental companies at Alicante airport.

"Great service"

Really happy with our hire car and the excellent service provided - we hired for a long weekend in Alicante from UK, with the full insurance (no deposit) and a baby seat. We checked in online, and the pick up was extremely quick and efficient.

Car was in excellent condition (5-door Yaris hybrid) and the good condition baby seat was isofix, so was a quick and easy fit.
The communication and shuttle services were excellent, and the car return quick and efficient.

Highly recommend this company, we will be using them on our next trip for sure.

"I rented a car for the first time"

I rented a car for the first time, so I was initially a bit skeptical. However, everything turned out perfectly thanks to Moovers. We were picked up on time at the airport, and the drive to their location was just about 10 minutes. We opted for the full coverage package, and I’m really glad we did! We rented a fiat 500 for a week. For just the two of us it was fine. On our departure day, we returned the car, and they kindly took us back to the airport. Overall, a seamless experience, and next time, we’ll definitely choose Moovers again! Highly recommended!
