"Lets you buy stuff from them but turns out they don't have stock of items"
I bought several items from goods.ph. I understand the items will be shipped from abroad and will take 4-6 weeks to be delivered. What made me feel cheated was the fact that they sell items on their website without making sure they have enough stock of the item.
Called on the third week after I ordered. Was informed that 1 item out of the 7 items I ordered was out of stock. I was told that they're only waiting for that particular item to be in stock again so they can deliver them all at once to me. So I said OK, will just wait for it since it's just 1 item we need to wait for. I was also offered to have the item in question replaced instead with another item with the same amount or higher. I declined since I was willing to wait for that 1 item at that time.
Then two weeks passed. Still no email from them about the delivery of items. Called them again, and this time I was told that 5 out of the 7 items are out of stock. I was told the same thing: that I'll have to wait until the items are back in stock. The guy on the phone couldn't give a timeframe on when it will be in stock again.
It was so ridiculous. Cancelled my order instead. Good thing I opted for the Cash on Delivery payment option or else it's gonna be another nightmare.
I'd rather do business with online stores that indicate how much of the said item is in stock. It's a basic element when shopping online, I don't understand why they can't include it on their website.
