Really tight spreads, great support, good enough for manual trading, lack of deposit options... don`t go there for scalping, same slippage as any other xcore based broker. They have a truly innovative trade receipt tracking system where you can see how and who filled your order. That would be the holy grail of transparency except for those values they provide are not accurate at all, at least not what I've registered from my <1ms vps... so quite disappointing.

I joined G.P approximately 6 months ago and funded the live account with debit card, mastercard. After a few deposit down the road that option for me was removed by G.P because It was some issues with the service of visa/mastercard.
I tried to transfer through bank transfer but as SEPA, (G.P opened a german bank account to facilitate the transfer to it´s european customers as regular transfer, SWIFT, takes longer).
Normally SEPA transfer takes 1-2 business days, but my transfer took longer.
First transfer - I did the transfer from Swedens largest bank, SEB, no problem at the beginning. After 3 business days I was getting worried about the transfer, as I was missing trades, and wondering what took so long as SEPA is a faster transfer.
I contacted my bank and they told me that the transfer was already done from their part and now is sitting in the german bank.
I contacted G.P support and asked what is the hold up as my money has already left my bank. I´ve talked to 3 different support agents at G.P and the last one saw my mistake when I showed the receipt of the transfer - the name of the recipient account was wrong.
So I withdraw back the transfer and made a second attempt.
Second transfer - this time I had G.P support on the live chat and got confirmed from different printscreens that all info about the transfer was correct, at the same time I had my bank on the phone checking that every details was correct.
Same procedure happend again as the 3 business day arrived and still no funds deposited in my account. Again I contacted my bank and again they said that the transfer was done from their part and that the money is in the german bank.
I contacted GP again and they contacted the german bank as well but still nothing.
I was getting frustrated as I thought somebody is lying.
I even call the german bank to see if the transfer was done but no answers.
Finally I got a call from my bank telling me that they got a request from the german bank wanting additional info of the transfer to G.P.
They requested NAME-BIRTH-ADRESS, I was thinking what the hell do they want G.P birth date for as it´s not a person but a company.
Contacted G.P support and asked and they as well was baffle by why a bank whants a birth date.
All info was sent again.
Fifth business day after, my bank call again and asked if I wanted to do the transfer.
I was confused as I thought the proceding was already in process.
I caught the bank assistant lying and made her confess that MY BANK HAD THE MONEY ALL THE TIME. They didn´t do the transfer and they where the ones that wanted name-birth-adress and not the german bank.
I said make the transfer, and the next day the funds where in my G.P account.
Moral of the story - DON`T TRUST BANKS (after this issue I closed my bank account and opened in a different bank).
I want to give extra credit to G.P support as they did everything that they could do, check every day if some funds have been deposit to my account, calling the german bank and making sure they client was waiting.
We tried even to deposit through Astropay.
Now that G.P has paypal, I can transfer my deposit smoothly and don't have to rely on the banks.

So i had noticed that when you place an order entry with global prime that they don't actually enter you into a trade unless the market reach's that price unlike IG which would enter you into a position 2 or so points away from your order entry price. Not only that their candles & price action are really accurate to the underlying market. Thank you i appreciate it.

Global Prime notified me less than 48 hours before the ASIC Product Intervention Order took effect (which significantly reduced retail traders leverage), resulting in me losing nearly $15,000 in my account.
ASIC announced the change 5 months ago. but I was told about it on Thursday afternoon. They said I could either deposit $100,000 to cover the leverage reduction that would take place in the next couple of days, or my account would easily go into margin call and pretty much all my open trades would be closed.

Trading is one of the hardest self employed jobs. Currently the talk is retail traders, GME, Silver squeeze and all the rest. Not many people are speaking on what the hell brokers are doing behind the scenes. Been trading with Global Prime for one year now and what i have learnt is they are way above the rest when it comes to transparency. The information given for free is surprising and little did i know that we have two types of brokers the thieves mostly B-Book brokers and A book brokers.
Sincerely speaking my very first trade on Global Prime i got slipped and was my first time getting slipped. Rushed onto support and made some noise about it. Mostly the brokers i have used in the past always internalized my trades, took the opposite side and never got even a single pip slipped. Here i come to an A book broker and first trade i come from the frying pan to fire. What the hell is this is asked myself making it hard to even fathom trading as a lucrative business. Making the hard life already harder. So i went to support and men we broke down the trade to the very liquidity provider that filled and closed the trade. I was like okay now we talking first time ever seeing trade receipts. What now we even have a statement for how trades are filled, the milliseconds it took from my platform to the server and through the whole system. It was not like the so called B books that you can ask and keep asking for proof on what happens or better yet record your screen to get proof.
Talked to Jem the co-Founder and i was like what the hell. From where i come from this guys are unreachable. The suits and red tape surrounding them is insane. This guy comes and send me a message and asked if i was helped. he goes ahead and schools me on Rollover and new trading on true ECN and A book stuff. oh before i forget check them on YouTube there's a series on A vs B book brokers. Quite good and educational. Retail needs to check this stuff out.
So i get schooled and I'm like is this how business is done here and from there all i needed to do was hit him up on text discord and got a reply that same freaking day from the co-founder. What crazy. Actually i got to trade on their Institutional platform TraderEvolution and being among the first guys besides my go to guy Elijah Marks when it comes to getting the ins and outs of TE that is how we call it.
I think retail has a long way to go from being profiled, brokers using plugins, Latency and all sorts of weird business in the backend. The marketing and advertising that goes on. Joining bonuses and stuff is all designed to lure you to getting punched left , right and center.
I know what people want. Deposits and withdrawals are as simple as ABC or 123 click get paid click get funds credited. Any issues get solved. Wrong swaps calculations etc all get rebated etc. Anything you come up with and is legit will always get solved.
I do not want to beat my drums here but check it out on your own.
Been hooked to them ever since.
