Cheese & wine painting has been my little bit of sanity during the pandemic. The free Facebook classes have provided teaching and entertainment, and the Facebook group has provided a shared experience when human connection has been lacking.
Ed is a superb teacher, blending humour, humility and talent, both online and in person.
I can’t thank him enough for the service he has provided!

Discovering Ed Sumner’s Cheese and Wine Painting Club has been the most positive experience in my whole lifetime! After studying art several decades ago I had sporadically attempted various projects but never on such a grand scale. Ed is such a talented artist and teacher that anyone can paint along with sessions without feeling any pressure. Videos may also be played back later enabling artists of all abilities to continue until satisfied with results.The group page is a valuable addition for displaying work and communicating with other members.

What an amazing experience. I challenge those who believe 100% they cannot paint to try this out and then say they are not proud of what they produced! Ed is a fantastic teacher who makes the whole experience simple and easy to follow. Maybe the glass of wine (or two), I had during the painting helped as well though.

Ed Sumner is an extremely talented artist who shares his knowledge and skills with anyone wanting to paint along with him. I had never painted with acrylic paint before finding The Cheese and Wine Painting Club and I am pleased to say I’m now hooked. I’ve made so many friends within the group too.
