"Excellent value and friendly"
We just stayed one night but found everything to be fine. The quirky beamed pub is newly opened and under new management after being closed for several months. Our room was a good size with cotton bed linen, quality pillows and a superb shower.. It was steak night so we indulged ourselves with the offer of two steaks with all the trimmings and a botlle of wine for the bargain price of £18. The steak was cooked exactly as we both ordered (one rare and one medium rare) and the trimmings were all very nicely cooked and presented. The real ale was also well kept and the locals were friendly and welcoming. Would certainly return if in the area.

"Enjoyable stay - was everything I needed"
Stayed here with friends for a weekend in June. The Guest House is close to the town but in a quiet street. The rooms are comfortable en suite. The owners are really nice and provide a good breakfast. The B&B is very good value for money. Would go back.

"Absolutely brilliant, couldn't have asked for more."
The hospitality on offer at the Eiders is superb, from the moment we arrived to tea or coffee through to the choice and care at breakfast time is as good as we have experienced anywhere. Our thanks to Caroline for making our stay enjoyable even though the weather didn't help.

"Great Cheese at the Mousetrap Inn"
We had a great experience at the Mousetrap Inn. The rooms were clean and the facilities were good. Breakfast was great and the scrambled eggs were the best we had tasted, so it's top marks for the Chef and we told her so!
The Inn is situated out of the Tourist centre, but still close enough to walk to the common in 5/7 minutes. Great before the Tourists started to pour in at about 9am! and of course after they had left for the day.
Very enjoyable and we would have no hesitation in staying again or recommending to others.
Cheers for now.................JMH

"Clean, Tidy but Noisey"
The noise from the Road made sleeping a little difficult, Breakfast was very good but the owners were a little to firm with the rules of the House, would not go back their again.

"Comfortable and friendly"
Blackpool is not my favourite place but we were there for a conference and the Hesketh Hotel met our needs well. It is small and friendly and we found our room to be clean and comfortable. There was not a lot of space in the en-suit bathroom (we certainly couldn't both use it together) but the bed was comfortable and there was plenty of room to move about in the bedroom. I've had better breakfasts - it was was all a bit 'greasy', but as a sleep-in-only, budget hotel it met the bill admirably. Two plus points - free parking and a lift (useful for a second floor room when taking up cases)
