They almost screwed up my very important Dubai trip! With so many positive reviews around, I fell into the trap. Seems like they are basically amateur scammers who have little knowledge in visa processing of just one country they represent - UAE.

My ordeal; applied for a 48hrs Dubai Transit Visa, paid USD60/- and submitted basic documents - Passport/Ticket/Photo which is all you require. But soon, I get a mail asking for additional documents which I provide. And then again, another one and I oblige again. This should have raised the red-flag at the very moment, but I did not think much at the time.

A customer represenative named ALIDA is allocated on my case. According to their website, turnaround time was to be 4 days. BUT EVEN AFTER 8 DAYS there is no update on my status. I've earlier aplpied for a similar visit visa through Emirates and have received it in 4hrs staright, and here you are waiting for it even after 8 days. I write to them asking them for an update and receive no response even after 2 full working days. Write once again on the 11th day and still am being ignored, how professional! Then again in the evening, I try using the chat feature on their website, but with my name/contact being shown, am again being neglected. However, after some time when I change my name/contact and try chatting, vola, I get a response quicker than lightning with them assuming it to be a new enquiry perhaps???

Being confronted, the reason given is that the Ministry is not "accepting" the Application, whatever that means. If the Ministry was not accepting, it was because of the application which they have made lacked the know-how, simple as that. Then I get a suggestion to apply for a 14 days Tourist Visa which would cost me an additional USD50/- or I could opt for a refund. Having enough of them, I obviously chose a refund. I do not hear from them for another day and when I write again, another day goies by before they reply with a refund acknowledgement form. However, when I receive the final refund, I've lost USD3.0/- to the government agencies as Tax as the origignal refund was not a refund per se but a new payment!
