Great experience and a fantastic time, although we probably got very lucky with the other travellers we were on the boat with as we all got on very well,(would like to have more information on people we were sharing with next time if possible)

"Croatia 2017"

Great holiday, we spent a week on the boat with friends touring the islands. The crew were great but there were a few issues with the boat, in particular the toilets smelling quite bad which was a bit of a problem all week - not great when you're sleeping right next to them. Also, I think because it was the crews first time doing this tour the timings between destinations and the time spent at each place could have been managed better.

If it wasn't for the issues with the yacht would have been 10/10!

Overall I was very happy with out Yacht Getaways experience. The staff on board were generally lovely and the destinations beautiful and exciting to explore. I felt the estimation provided of costs per day was well below reality given the limited dinner options on the various islands we visits. Whilst this wasn't a big issue for us it was for some of those on our yacht who were travelling for longer periods. I also felt that the food on the yacht itself was basic and below expectation.

Our first charter with Yacht Getaways was from a web search. I was impressed with their web site and credentials and booked a charter to Greece last June. All of the planning for our trip and the support we received from Yacht Getaways was top notch. Our skipper and mate were terrific: great personalities and gourmet meals were the norm. We enjoyed it so much that we've just booked another charter with them to Antigua. Can't wait!

The skipper and host (Dal and Kate) were great. The food was very good. For me the issue was very minimal space for luggage and clothes, as well the heat. However, there were fans in the rooms that did help.

A fantastic outfit for those booking skippered sailing excursions. I've sailed with Yacht Getaways in both Croatia and Greece and found their entire team, from booking to boarding to be professional and very easy to communicate with. Both routes offered picturesque insights into the coastlines explored, and the yachts were very comfortable with fantastic hosts. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a relaxing yacht getaway!
