Stay away! They will approve your claim but never transfer the money!
I rented a car in July in Ljubliana. Had to pay 400€ when I returned the car because of scratches. Immediately contacted the company asking for a refund, couple of weeks later they approved the claim and told me money will be transferred in 90 days.
I've been waiting since then (100 days), no money arrived.
I've been writing them mails every 2-3 days (30 mails until now) the didn't respond to any mail. On the phone they tell they can not transfer you the the accounting department, but they will escalate the claim, no one return to you.
It's a fraud. I'm already contacted with the European Consumer Center - Making an official dispute. Lawyer is also on the way.
Stay away as I said in the beginning. They are stealing people money!
[EDIT] - As you can see Emily (The representative answering all the reviews) is half a BOT and half human, she always have the same stupid answer)

"Another SCAM - AVOID"
I can see it has been same issue with everybody - they claim to sell you insurance under RELAX package but when it comes down to covering it, you will never see your money!
Rent car in June with additional excess insurance, have been charged with scratches over 400 Euros, claimed it back, granted refund and ... not seen my money back! Again, original email states that it might take up to 90 days and when I emailed after 3 months, they just send me with "We have sent an urgent request to our accounting and we will get back to you as soon as we receive a confirmation." no signature and no follow up after over a week!

I have just received my refund - it took 126 days but it landed on my bank account.

"SCAM! Don't Trust Them"
SCAM! DO NOT TRUST. They’re full of false advertising. They ‘creatively' use the “..or similar” clause to over promote and make it look like a great deal. They are a reseller and the actual rental company has to deal with the angry customers when they pick-up. On refund request, the actual rental company refunded within a day, but Vehicle-Rent argued for their 10%, claiming that the car had four tires therefore was ‘similar’ [I’m joking here, they simple stated that within their data these cars are similar].

Excellent service, fast and efficient pick up and return, very close to the airport. Car was as ordered and in good clean condition. Staff very helpful and efficient would definitely be my go to rental when We return to this fabulous island.

Voilà mon expérience, j’ai réservé à travers ce site une voiture à Miami. En arrivant chez le loueur, celui-ci n’a pas pu faire la location puisque ma carte était à débit immédiat et qu’il faut impérativement avoir une carte de crédit. Ce que je peux entendre. Le loueur nous a dit qu’aucun frais ne serait débité de notre carte car c’est lui qui a annulé la réservation . Malheureusement, le site véhicule rent, lui, nous a compté des frais d’annulation assez important et n’ont jamais voulu nous rembourser.
Je trouve que c’est du vol car je n’ai jamais eu ma location. A éviter

I took out VR's relax package for the a 4 week rental period ending 23rd july ironically based on good TPilot reviews with 'OK' from Valencia airport. I submitted my excess refund claim within a few days of returning to the UK i.e. late july & received an email from vehicle rent confirming that my claim had been successfully approved but that it might take up to 90 days to process. In the interim I have sent & received several emails all very similar in content to the TPilot replies from VR (in respect of poor feedback from customers) i.e. priority request sent to accounting and so on but no refund received to date! A series of emails pretty much saying the same thing whilst not resolving the issue is not customer service & VR's 'Relax' packages are clearly being misrepresented & mis-sold. The matter is simply unacceptable & I regret using VR as this feels like a scam as no reputable would operate like this. I am now like others having to take further action. I have purchased & used European car rental many times over the years & have never encountered such a delay or similar issues over excess refunds so I recommend reviewers beware & avoid VR!

pick up quickely at alicante airport and was on my way inside 20 mins staff were very friendly and helpfull. had some damage on vehicle when someone hit one of the wing mirrors and left no details.reception staff dealt with that on return of vehicle and made me feel easy in all the dealing i had with them. overall the best and simplest car rental company i have had the pleasure of doing business with.

FIrstly, you NEED TO READ T&C's, if you do , no surprises and this company delivers very good honest customer service at a good value. Yes the deposit is high, but the rental is low. As long as you take independant waiver coverage from a third party at home, you will not get an issue. ALL frustrations I saw myself at the desk was due to people NOT reading the T&C's. Everything is clearly listed in the documentation they send you and there were no surprises. Staff were very helpful to me and helped me with a request I made, they went out of their way to assist. I will be using them on my next visit in May 2020.

Sono sempre io. sono trascorsi altri 6 giorni e ancora nulla del mio rimborso. essere presi in giro per tardare i tempi non è mai bello. Totalmente inaffidabili. ma adesso se la vedranno con un nuovo interlocutore : l avvocato. non capiscono che chi legge le recensioni non li sceglie più. vergognoso perché si perde un sacco di tempo ed energie e sto parlando di 155 € di rimborso neanche 1000 euro . Rentalcar in 30 giorni ha rimborsato degli amici.
