I would recommend the company, everything went smoothly on pick up and drop off, even in the small hours when we landed.
The only gripe was the make of car (Mitsubishi mirage) is really unsuitable for the Cyprus roads. The front of the car was very low to the ground (6”) so if you had to go up or down a small bump you were very lightly to take the whole fender off. Also the tyres were very thin so every time you hit a pot hole or low drain cover you felt as if you had lost a wheel. Maybe next time I would get a slightly bigger car.

Был опыт с данной компанией, летом 2019 года. Компания ненадежная, обманывает Клиентов! Заказали через них машину, перевели им деньги - когда прилетели в аэропорт, на стойке нам сказали, что свободных машин для нашей брони нет. Пришлось брать такси с маленьким ребёнком. Написали в Vehicle rent, объяснили всю ситуацию, попросили вернуть деньги за недоказанные услуги и за такси, с июля 2019 года переписываемся по электронной почте! Сейчас уже октябрь.. деньги возвращать не хотят

Услуги не оказывают, деньги берут!! Возвращать не хотят! Не связывайтесь с этой компанией!

We had a great vehicle which was in perfect and clean condition. Had a bit of a problem locating the shuttle but that could have been our fault due to communication challenges with the new phone we were using. Also suggest that you educate older customers on the ease of charging a cell phone in the car. Was trying to buy a charger and was taught that I could do it without a charger off the dashboard by a sympathetic fellow customer. In a country where you don't speak the language this was a happy thing. Some of the being lost because our phone was flat could have been avoided.

"Still waiting for insurance reimbursement - after 120 days!"

Rented a car in Croatia with insurance.
Made some scratches on the car, paid the for the damage upfront, filled all the forms, had the claim accepted and.... 120 days have past since I've received an email that I'd be refunded soon and that it could take up to 90 working days to be reimbursed.
Now,there isn't even anyone answering the phone.

I'm not sure if this is an amateur company or a fraud.
Next week I'll have a lawyer looking at the matter to sue them.

And I suggest others with the same experience to sue them as well, we can't have these fraudulent companies operating unchecked.

Having booked and received an email saying that we would be met at Chania airport by someone from ALMA CAR HIRE with a sign with our name on we flew to Chania to be met by - NOTHING! There was no-one there, not even a desk to report to. We asked at several desks if they knew where the Alma office was and were eventually directed off the airport and about half a mile down the road, with all our luggage, again asking at several other companies. We eventually arrived at Abbey Cars - apparently Alma sub-contract to several other companies and do not have their own office.
The people at Abbey were fine, but Alma are useless. The fact that no-one met us as promised seems to be irrelevant - they said that 'if we would have been contacted from location the issue could be avoided immediately'.
