The wood used is very firm and strong; it didn't flex when I tested it by leaning strongly on it. The shape of the grip felt as natural as if it had been custom-made for my hand. The cherry color stain and finish are just beautiful, and I very much like that I also received a wrist strap and spare rubber tip. The decorative cane ring adds a very stylish and distinctive touch. So that it retains its new appearance for as long as possible, this cane is being reserved for special occasions, and not used every day, although I would not hesitate to use it daily if it were my only cane. I am even thinking about making a storage case for the cane.
